The Tamashii product page indicates that the set will come with an interchangeable clear cockpit canopy (like the VF-27). It does not mention it coming with a sword but then again it also omits the gunpod from the list of contents. Translation

If you are going to resize and print the decal, you might as well also design and use the new reaper insignia rather than use Messer's. For accuracy, you will also need to mask and paint black trimming on the figure. Hayate's rebuilt 31J is blue, white and black.

It would be too small. The kit is 1/72 scale and the DX is ~1/60.
