the blank VF-1S could be painted as angle colors or trainer or stealth like in the battle cry game either way it will be awesome and yes I know battle cry is robotech but it's still a good color scheme

When did you find it necessary to use them? I didn't use them for any of the 3 modes and everything seemed pretty secure.

Waiting for my VF-1D Virgin Road to come in the mail. Dang hlj's VF-11B is back ordered I ordered it anyways now the question is, when do they get more? Also I pre ordered the unpainted VF-1S and its only 85$'s i think maybe because it has no paint.

Though japan with all its technology like us why do they receive order notification and contacts and updates from manufactures the old way before computers

Not bad idea. The mods should some how place these seprate vf threads into the important topics section of toys, so newbies can learn and so on.

As cool as the helmet is, for me, fortunately it doesn't make my heart skip a beat and give me that "oh I gotta have it feeling" as some of the other stuff about to be released has given me. With the large scale SDF-1's price possibly being in the stratosphere and other upcoming Valks I want, the helmet is more or less "meh". If the price was maybe $250 I'd consider it, but I will probably pass on this one.

someone should make a fighter pilot suit like the one rick wore and roy wore and so on and so forth so those helmets can match and then take a pic of said person waring the costume + the helm and post it here

A remake of the old thread? Whats to talk about in this figure unless there are adding more stuff to it. Though I like the trainer colors i got the VF-1D virgin road it looks cool and blue is my favorite color:D

It looks cool especially with its head joints up and down 360 spin a extender to make it come out more and up head joint and the antenna can swivel and bend in different directions and extend-able sensors on the head

So...basically, you want a Yamato VF-25 instead of Chunky Monkey 2.0?

so...Yamato makes 1/60 or 1/48 or whatever and decide to engineer small moving fragile parts and we have to deal with it cause of the size, and then they move to a humongous 1/2000 SDF-1 with moving parts so big and heavy that need a harder/expensive/special resin material to hold themself...

to me, it seems kind of STUPID and RETARDED, figure out a way to make moving parts in a proper resistant size, seriously...

anyway, Graham, any possibility that if Yamato makes a production version later, we could see it TV style?

they should make a 1/1000 instead of 2000 or at least a 60 or 48

EDIT:My VF-1D is OK, excellent paint application, stiff joints and I've transformed it numerous times and the shoulders are doing fine.

It's a great figure, some peolple complained that the chestplate (colored orange) is a bit transclucent when in battroid mode. It´s partially true around the upper area of the chest where it splits with the back but it's not that terrible

Go ahead and get the VF-1D, you get to choose the Virgin Road too!!!

Love my VF-1D. If you go with the VR, watch the back tabs just like with the M&M 1J's. They can get scratched when you go from plane/gerwalk to battroid if you're not careful.

I've just bought a VF-11B, VF-1D virgin road, and I pre ordered the VF-1S unpainted one same grate figure but in white color and because of no paint it's only 85 dollars but im getting it for 81 because of the early bird pre order thing in hlj

Lets pretend here that they made it. If in so they did then not only will it cost more then 2grand but if it's close to 5 ft tall imagine the difficulty and stress, you and many people will go through to bring that to you or to even carry that to the post office to pick it up because of its immense size.

waiting for my VF-11B w/super parts and im ordering now a VF-1D virgin road

1. I want to know if the 1D had any problems with its plastic or broken heads joints etc.

EDIT: I'm asking this because im buying 2 valks at once and i bought the 11B, and i want a 1D. Just to make sure i dont get one who had a past of breaking thanks.

well I guess the question is whether you are getting these valkyrie in sequence you want and you are not sure yet?

Either way, you will get them according to your favorite so sort it out.

IF it's a one time deal, I will get the M&M coz there are two valkyries with fastpack.

If it's getting them in the order to fit your budget, I don't see M&M fit well with the others because apparently M&M are the most expensive and you should start with vt-1.

So you should be more specific on your question, hey I have 200 bucks so which valkyrie I should get?
