  1. For me, the most memorable was one of the last episodes where the ending scene was the corpse of a Zentraedi pilot holding a minmay doll as the music was lowly playing.
  2. I don't know. I have that redish one by FX.
  3. There's nothing left to really debate about in the movie edition. It was pretty solid.
  4. I think it's because he's a special class that's like a librarian/advisor.
  5. I didn't notice this topic before. I was Station, now I'm Tekkaman Blade. B)
  6. If I bought one of those, I'd keep thinking to myself: "My gameboy has Kosvo Daikun's theme on it"
  7. I didn't notice it until I watched the Animeigo DVDs for the first time. I never noticed it on old tapes though. Weird.
  8. Obviously, the Meltran were better Power Armor pilots.
  9. I grew up on Teknoman (Tekkaman Blade B) Later was Robotech (Macross) and then way later I saw some über old tapes of Harlock. They used to have a show on by Malibu Comics at one time too.
  10. I've been looking for it too, but i don't remember the name being Captain Harlock Queen of a Thousand Years. o_O
  11. The Anti-UN would have to have bases, fleets and fixed sturctures just like the UN. You can't fight an entire war with offensive weapons only. Plus, the only tactics we have seen from them involve a wolfpack of SV-51's. There have probably been much larger, non hit-and-run engagements using more conventional (non-overtech) weapons and tactics. I definately agree on that. Also, you must remember that destroids aren't only for combat. Look at the Spartan. That thing barely has any attack ability, but it has arms for lifting heavy objects. I'd assume the Anti-UN would look into such a design if it gained the funds to do so. Well I don't know about that... The Spartan is loaded with guns in it's central chest and has two missile racks on each shoulder. ...and a billy club. And yet almost every time the pilots fight in them, they clotheslined the Zentran

  13. Is this because I said that the DYRL movie was a UN Propoganda machine?
  14. No Rockman and Forte?! HULK SMASH (I'm just mad cause I don't have a PS to play it on anymore =(
  15. Didn't the UN release or sanction it to help cover up the Supervision Army while they were trying to figure things out? .............. now you're making making it sound like Macross 2 (the UN lies about winning all those battles)
  16. DYRL was a lie. A propoganda meant to mislead the people!
  17. I never try to explain Macross 2, it just doesn't fit in the whole Macross puzzle correctly.
  18. I don't think it's a true airplane. I asked at another forum and this is the reply I got:
  19. Yeah, I got the pictures from my VHS obviously, when I heard about the Arcadia of My Youth movie, i looked everywhere for the subbed version (I heard the English Dub both sucked and edited some key parts). Every person I've shown this movie became a Harlock fan like me That plane is definately pre WWI, but I don't know what it is. I can ask at another forum I go to. BTW, I cant' wait for this to be on DVD, this movie is a classic. Voice of Free Arcadia rings harmonically in all our ears
  20. How sad you all didn't come to me for screenshots. I'm the only guy who was willing to find certain parts in Macross episodes to screencapture them. I have a screen capture board for capture VHS and Laserdisc footage, and without further adoo, here are some good screenshots of Phantom F. Harlock the 1st's Biplane:
  21. Heh, if she imagined the Macross was all cute and perky like that, she's crazy. It's got a big cannon
  22. ... uh, but the Macross was the Alus. Yeah, that's what Ishtar said!
  23. I laughed so hard when I saw that in the Macross II movie. I couldn't believe they thought that was the Macross
