  2. Dun worry bro, next year there will be another event. Also, I will up pics of ranka lee and sheryl nome next! But gotta run first! Chalo!
  3. The crowd on the 2nd day, I can't even find the space or time to move around: One of the programmes, a showcase of Danny Choo's Japanese Cultural show in Japan, really informative and awe-inspiring: Din, hard at work finishing a 'sash': For who, you might think: MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  4. when MFOM comes to town, we try to make it big! Yours truly with local beauties... Reza n friends... 2nd day; calm before the storm.. our display better arranged for the 2nd day. he's TALL!!
  5. I was thinking along the same line... I mean, look at it from Bandai's perspective: If they redo a vf-25, chances are the vf-25 currently in the market would be 'dead' as owners of current version would sell theirs as cheap as the can afford in order to buy version 2.0. Even now, yamato vf 1/60 ver 1.0 in my country are already depreciating in value as new fans opt for the much superior 1/60 ver 2.0. Hence, like you say, YF-29! And I gotta admit, I like the design especialy the forward swept wings. And of course, I'm banking Bandai will take cue from their VF-27..
  6. Our display on the first day.....not bad considering our display table was quite late arriving.
  7. as promised, some pics from my camera: Chupa...having a hard time putting on the GBP armor. Our display on saturday morning a friend, one of local Macross fan..Din. Diorama by Din....impressive!
  8. that is so awesome! Guess I just have to make do with 1/6 weapons....
  9. I am more forgiving in my demands, imho. Though admittedly, the DX design could use LOTS of improvement, but being the only representation in the market currently, I still buy them all, sans the armored pack. And I'm looking forward for the release of Michel's VF-25G with Tornado Pack next year to complete my Frontier bunch. And what if Bandai or even Yamato come out with better models in the future? Well...I will still buy them of course. Just like those people who already bought a Yammie 1/72...once the new and improved 1/60 came out, what's stopping us from buying more valks,of the same one even? My purchase so far has been of personal taste, I like it so I buy it. And I do read the feedbacks and cautions, if only to know what to watch out for in the valks I bought... My 2 cents worth....
  10. Hi guys, normally vanphang would be posting about this, but since he's tied up at the moment, I'll handle on his stead. Details about the event: Comic Fiesta 2010 In Malaysia, this event is the closest to a 'Con' we'll ever get....until one day Macross can hold a convention here *wishlist* Again, Macross Fans Of Malaysia has been invited to display their showcase on Macross 'verse. I and a few guys will be uploading pics and report later on. Any feedback and suggestion from u guys on how to make our booth more attractive are appreciated. Since we are doing this on our own time and money, budget IS a constraint mind ya...hahaahha! Till laters! p/s: Anybody passing by are encouraged to come to our booth. Would love to meet fellow Macworld members.

  12. Aahhh....fast jets, big boobs babes....that's living man! On another note; My photobucket was banned once too for a pic of Unicron flashing 'The Finger' sign....waddahell??
  13. come on...give us VF-0D and 0B already! lol! ah well... the '19 variants will keep us busy for the year 2011, I hope.
  14. My panel linings are inconsistent at best...so when it comes to my macross, I prefer to send it to a friend of mine for expert makeover...heheheeheh... Here's his blog: http://rkdesigns.blogspot.com/2010/03/yamato-148-vf1s-roy-focker-weathered.html And the paintjob still hold until now.... If you ask me, the linings and detailings add depth and character to your collection, yessireee.....
  15. here's mine: and no, i won't apply the stickers...reminds me of NFS:U
  16. trust me, it's virgin-tight. I dunno, maybe it was designed for the bar to pop in, not out. I tried pushing straight up, I tried twist and shout..errr..I mean, push....the only thing I accomplish is a nasty, creaking sound and stress marks around the centre plastic. But I believe u can drill holes at the sides and push the pin out, except I dun have any drills with me...
  17. Just to share; pic of the metal bar which has been installed backwards on my VF-0S and the rather stubborn end of the metal:
  18. SWEET!!!! Awesome job man! I hope my SV-51 turn out like this....

    1/48 VF-1J Max

I've heard that max n miria super VF-1j has QC issues. Which might be true considering the Milia I bought was missing the right intake cover and the one my friend bought few months back is missing the heat shield......
  20. thanks for the tips choronocidal..as for which part of the bar? Well, here's the stinker... The whole stretch! I have removed the wing area but sadly, the top part of the metal bar is lodged pretty tight to the backpack. I tried to pop it up, but then stress mark start to develop around the centre screw hole and I just could not dare.... So I did the next best thing; I removed the lower hip bar ( and its pin is only knurled at one end ), flipped it over and hammer the pin back in. So now the nosecone cover can close snugly over the hip bar, but the backpack is still loosely clipped to the bar but it will hold if not handled roughly. Might have to revisit this part later on when I get my ghost booster...... Again, thanks to all that have given me their tips and insights.
