I got a real kick out of Eric Roberts dissing 24's wanton vigilantism when he told Bennet that he won't be killed until the order came down. 'That's how we do it here. We follow orders.'

We've seen the shapeshifter working for both Thompson and Linderman, so Thompson apparently works for Linderman. Linderman obviously has his own agenda (the bomb needs to go off) which may or may not conflict with the OWI's objectives. I can't recall a specific scene where HRG thinks Linderman is a 'bad guy' to the OWI... refresh my memory?

Mr. Bennet's cool factor dropped sharply when donut cop laughed at him for being 'middle management' who doesn't even know who his real boss is.

As hard as the missions in the original versions of X-Wing and TIE Fighter were, I managed to beat them all without cheat codes (but ruined quite a few joysticks in the process). No other game gives you the kind of satisfaction when you manage to survive the trench run. Some took numerous tries... but that's part of the fun. Trying to figure out when and what to do to keep the odds from becoming impossible. Lucasarts should reboot the series with updated graphics and XP/Vista compatibility. The lack of iMuse and story in XvT was what killed it for me. Too bad I never managed to grab a TIE Defender from Galoob, don't think I ever saw them in stores.

Those Lawrence Holland space sims brought back fond memories... unlike most games built on a known license, they were actually awesome to play and did not suck at all.

The writers did admit they were grasping for ideas for this season. What amazes me is how they decide to toss out some of the best threads they had going instead of mining them for all their worth - the conspiracy group from season 5 turned out to be nothing more than Bauer Sr. trying to cover his own ass, for example. Instead of making the rabbit hole deeper and darker, they decided to fill it with fluffy dirt instead. As for Grendenko chopping his arm off, I saw that coming from miles away when he was told the bug was inside his bone. Lifting ideas from the Hannibal movie is truly scraping at the bottom of the barrel.

Hahaha... the Snuke episode (24 parody) was awesome.

I don't think they were meant to replace Tony and Michelle. In any case, I prefer all 4 of them to Chloe. She hasn't had a good scene since that shootout several seasons ago. Ever since then she's like the miracle girl on the phone, doing all the impossible things for Jack.

As long as the egg doesn't come into contact with the exterior of the shell, it should be safe for consumption raw. I have yet to get sick from eating raw eggs.

You're comparing a video game franchise that spawned some OVAs and a TV series with an anime series that spawned mostly crappy video games... I'd rather compare it to something more analogous, like the Final Fantasy franchise instead.

Kim Raver, who plays Audrey, was cast in another TV series called The Nine. This explains her absence in the new season of 24. Now that The Nine's canceled, the writer just might pull a Dallas and write her back into the show.

As much as I hate to admit it, the live shows have become rather creatively bankrupt... they're re-staging 'new' versions of the same plays from previous games, and the quality of the music has been on a steady decline. And there hasn't been a new ST game since V came 2 years ago, other than endless ports of the original games onto new platforms. At least they were trying to put out new, original side story games to fill the gaps between major releases. I'd much rather get a new Hanagumi Columns game than yet another port of ST1 or 2. Every time Microsoft releases a new version of Windows you can bet Sega will go back and milk the dried cow once more.

Finally watched it on DVD yesterday. Thumbs up! Paulie crying like a little girl was so wrong, I am glad it ended up on the cutting floor.

It's a guy... he's Ogami's relative. I think he cross-dresses in the game too.

It's kinda lame how daddy Bauer's completely out of the picture. So much wasted opportunity there. He better return later in the season with a talking pig.

My favorite is 3 / Paris team. Haven't finished 5, kind of lost interest after 2 or 3 chapters. The new cast just felt a bit bland. Wonder if it'll get picked up for US distribution. Funimation did a so-so job with the Sumire OVA and the first Paris team OVA. There's supposed to be a west coast US team but the series looks kind of dead now... Sega promised nearly a dozen ST games a couple years ago and most haven't materialized so far.

I think Milo's defending Nadia because he's got the hots for her. There probably isn't a mole - the terrorists could have planted a Trojan horse when CTU gave them access to the network earlier in the day.
