  1. the 1/60 to me is unbearable. I have the max and millia, the 1D, and the super and I hate them all. Poor design because of the floppy legs and arms. They don't hold a pose period in battroid mode. The super stays in its box. I'll probably trade or sell that eventually but the 1D I'll keep untill I make my custom 1/55 1D and the Max and millia I'll keep until I am rich and can get the 1/48's. I HATE THE YAMMIE 1/60
  2. So for those with problems what issue # do you have? Mine is above 3,000 and I have very few "problem" outside of the inherent design flaws. Are all the problems assiciated with pre #3000?
  3. Overall I'm happy with the toy itself. I'd much rather it would be priced better than have the lousy box. That's my biggest gripe. These are for alpha #03363 Likes: I like the poseability I like the sculpt Gun design I have no paint problems I only have 1 mold flaw in the left intake, i expected many more problems Like the mini cyclone Like the canopy and pilot Like all the leg hatches except the lowest one's. Like the shoulder hatches (just be really careful with them Like the many ajustments that can be made to the feet (its very stable and doesn't want to fall over like all of the yammies. Like the size to weight ratio Hates: Loose wrists Lowest leg missle hatches...doors fall off Forearm missles are worthless (design flaw) Stiff left wing Funky hip adjustment (just dislike it) Tough transformation (very stiff...feel like its going to break) Big toes Not perfect transformation Rear Landing gears and front landing gear hatch sucks (biggest flaw) Almost impossible to pull out front gear Need tabs on the leg hatches (I needed to use an exacto to get them open) Fragil shoulder hatches (be very careful...don't end up like EXO) Ratings (I'll include my ratings of other forum toys for reference) Alpha Cost...4/10 (is it worth the price) QC... 8/10 (overall QC) Design...8/10 (sculpt accuracy, and transformation process) Paint...8/10 (quality and accuracy) Poseability...9/10 (can it hold a pose?) 4. I heard that the last 2 MPC veritech releases weren't that bad as far as QC goes. I actually don't have any paint problems on my alpha.
  5. I like the alpha much better than any of my 1/60 yammies.
  6. Mint but transformed 1x and I didn't use any stickers. Had everything it came with including the cel. I removed the batteries to avoid corrosion. The glue on the box wasn't very good but still holding. The guy who got it wanted to complete his MPC collection and was very happy with it.
  7. When I sold mine a couple of months ago there were 4 other MPC vol 1's sold for over $150, one sold for $210! When I got it I from toynami I was so pissed that it was crap. I transformed it once. Glad its gone.
  8. I'm sure you can get them apart somehow. Its not like toynami is know for using quality glue
  9. I no longer have any grief about my vol 1 MPC veritech. I sold it on ebay for $180. Nice profit for a toynami piece of crap. I actually like my alpha...it scary to transform...worse than the yamato 1/48. I'm going to figure out a way to fix the rear gears...but until I do so it will stay in either battroid or gearwalk mode. Also somebody really needs to figure out how we can fix these worthless arm missles.
  10. Rei strikes again. BTW watch out for the lower missle hatch on the leg. They tend to come off very easily. I've decided to just leave mine shut.
  11. Funny that 2-mode gekkan is supposed to be 1/55 also. With the Above #3000: I have very few paint flaws. As good as any Yamato I have Floppy elbows but not floppy shoulders Worthless rear landing gears Floppy wrists Some nast seams. It's definitely better than any Yammie 1/60 or 1/72 I have. Last pic
  12. Damn you beat me to the Poseable back to back shot. Darn pics take too long to load. Here's a Gekkan vs MPC. BTW my MPC is #03363
  13. Newtype reported that FMA for PS2 would be released sometime late next year. I didn't want to wait that long so I barrowed my friend "DL's" copy
  14. Have you played the PS2 Full metal alchemist game? Very Fun.
  15. So do you think we can expect a drop in the prices for the 1/35's on ebay because of this release?
  16. So OVA 3 and up is just a continuation of the one's pioneer already released in a 3 and 4 disk set? If I'm wrong please correct me since I have the First 2 disks of the old pioneer release...disk 3 was just some extras.
  17. I'm interested in the Ghost if the price is right.
  18. Are these different from the old OVA's. I have an OVA set that's 3 discs...but the last one is just extras. I hope your talking about a new series.
  19. I might be interested. Depends on final price and what they look like.
  20. Funny, If I put in Jim I get Kojima (Small Island) Amon (Asian gates). But is I put in James I get Fujiwara (wisteria fields) Amon (Asian gates). So I assume that Amon is my last name. What the hell is a wisteria field?
  21. I'd go with Ein, Minche, or Astro. Isis was the egyptian god of cats! So it doesn't make a lot of sense to name a dog Isis.
  22. Who cares about the Macross plus triangle...the Isamu desert spine is gone. I love the new top and sides but hate the spine.
  23. I heard that they were including new episodes...or are these just the directors cut episodes?
  24. That's what I thought...that they were plants that look like humans. now the question is...were they born from the plants aboard the ships themselves. As was explained they just kinda appeared and grew at an incredible rate. (grew like weeds )
