  1. I never picked up a Makushimirian before so I'm mildly tempted but the mold for the armour isn't too impressive. Like mentioned above these don't stand up well against the Tomahawk.
  2. Here's a list of issues minor and major I've had. -1/72 VF-11B nonFP Broken hip out of package but got a free replacement -1/72 YF-19 standard colours Paint chipping plus a hand that cracked from putting the gunpod in it -1/60 VF-1A Hikaru Extreme yellowing -1/60 VF-1S ver 2 Mispaint on a section of the nose cone 1/12 Scopedog ver1 Floppy joints 1/60 YF-21 Gunpods won't stay seated in the fast packs and fall out. There are of course problems with some molds overall like all the 1/60s ver 1 VFs have floppy backpacks and hip joints that get severely loose if left in battroid mode. Also my Miria power armour is fine so far because I don't play with it it all but I can tell like others the joints are weak and will loosen severely over time. I am more cautious about my purchases due to my experience but the general Quality of Yamato products keeps me buying.
  3. Hard to get a decent pic but here Pretty noticeable really. You'd think QC would have caught it before I did
  4. Noticed a small line of unpainted nosecone surface when I got a chance to play with it more. Could technically be a scratch I guess but regardless the nosed has a white strip where it should be black and it came that way.
  5. I know it's ironically payed off that I've been waiting for a better slim line colour
  6. Gundam Battle historically has had training missions but IMO they have been more annoying than anything else. Of course completing all the training missions gives you bonus tune points to start with.
  7. +1 I honestly wasn't big on the trainer until I got Yamato's ver1 1/60 and now it's one of the only ver1s I still fiddle with on occasion. I'm not sure why but it just has this certain charm to me now. I'm not real big on canon or official so if the design is "flubbed" a bit I won't care as long as it works.
  8. Got mine yesterday hardly touched it so far (just fighter to battroid and put on packs but so far so good. Came a lot faster from Japan than I though it would. Shipped the 18th got it the 21st. Only complaint so far is the trouble I had putting the fast packs on the back. The bracket didn't want to go in all the way under the tail and I was afraid to use too much force but in the end I got it on. Also no antenna?
  9. The ver1 Scope Dog I own has ratchets everywhere but like waist/upper arm/wrist/toe area. The only problem with it is the thumbs really and the new ones are supposedly tighter overall.
  10. Better than a DS game Yes. Some levels had way over full submergence and others about waist deep IIRC.
  11. Honestly other than the backpack that sticks occasionally the 21 has been pretty easy to transform for me. My friend has a 19 which I've handled but I've shied away from transforming it because it feels really fragile and very toy like in comparison to the 21 IMO. Hate to break another man's expensive toy
  12. or Loving you Is easy because you're beautiful.... Making love with you Is all I want to do.... Loving you Is more than just a dream come true.... And everything that I do Is out of loving you.... No one else can make me feel The colors that you bring.... Stay with me while we grow old.... And we will live each day in spring time.... Because loving you.... Has made my life so beautiful.... And every day of my life Is filled with loving you.... Loving you.... I see your soul come shining through.... And everytime that we.... Oh I'm more in love with you...
  13. wait WHAT?! I'm quite happy with my 21 so far.. Well Played Trebek but the detachable cockpit is a VF-11C thing I imagine. Could release 11 with fast packs and drones with atmospheric boosters or other way around if they really felt inclined to do so. Or even a generic 11 with one set and an Isamu version with the other.
  14. Nope definitely some form of lubrication. It was right near the hip joint and all over it and the hip/thigh area. Having transformed it and played with it a bit I am no longer suspicious of foul play. Just never had a yammie with visible greasing before. That's an online dealer. Good deal man they have the 21 listed on their site for $220! I'm supposed to go check out Cards & Comics Central (the San Francisco guy that was at SDCC) with a buddy. I guess he needs another yammie fix. He only got a yammie stand for his 19 at SDCC
  15. They should have gotten busted just like the Mattel booth did for not controlling the crowd. They created a serious fire hazard. I'm sure they only got away with it because it was the last day.
  16. That wasn't isolated to just one booth. It seemed as though a lot of the workers were just "jobbers" this was especially true at the Mattel booth and I know at least one group of workers at another booth were just grabbed as cheap labor from Ireland on visas.
  17. Yeah, did you get that from TSINC99, the guy from San Francisco (his store's name escapes me atm) or someone else? I got the 21 and the fold booster for $260 and I thought that was decent. I find it funny that I still see the old 19 and 21 around with asking prices above $200... Pretty happy overall with my purchase but I'm kind of suspicious that the unit has been played with already. I noticed some wet/shiny substance on at least the left leg/hip area. Thought it might have been glue but it's not. Might be oil/grease but I'm not positive. Did anyone else notice copious lubrication any where on their 21?
