I love my yamato valkyries. The only thing I hate about Yamato is exclusive release on web or wonderfest.

Comparing the yamato valkyrie with transformers is pretty unfair, probably the junky monkey is a better candidate if you wanna do drop test on the toy.

It's less than a week from the official date plus Graham is in HK, I won't be too surprise. Shoot pictures if you do get them later of the day.

I don't think it's too hard to find any V2 valkyrie at this point. I wonder if you are talking about 2nd batch of V2, but I don't think 2nd batch of VF-1S has been released unless you are talking about the low viz VF-1S.

I will probably get another CF 1J later, too sweet with all the tempo printing. All CF with fastpack in fighter mode in the pictures that I posted is CF 1J, the one standing behind in battroid mode is CF 1A.

You will love the CF 1J too.

I only notice the landing gear wrapped until yesterday. The CF 1A is the most fragile and have a greater risk than any other else to get paint loss since the wings and landing gear compartment are painted on. Gotta be very careful when swinging the wings or might eventually scratched the white paint. I will try to put on the TV armor on CF 1A, I like how it looks on CF 1J. I got mine yesterday, both are fine. The feet, intake are meant to be brown as seen in line art. Did you notice that Yamato actually custom made a plastic cover on the main wings to protect the white paint? sweet. I can't get used to the color yet because it looks like a sun tan version of the CF 1J. CF 1J is the only release that has the most complete tampo.

my order is getting "retention" status and have been sitting in the post office for 3 days to be released. damn those suckers.

Do you guys seal the toy with a coat of matt sealer after the 2B pencil weathering job?

OMG, this is exactly the same toy that I got when I was 10 years old from a small grocery shop next to my school. I only have the vf-1s and it was my first valkyrie toy.

I just checked and the vf-1s is still available, and in fact I believe these are over stock from the initial production run which is why OD is still carry them with $73.99 price tag, you can buy the strike armor for about $30. Unless these are selling out, I don't think there will be any re-production.

I still understand why you would like to know the sizes between both before you buy them. are you making decision on which to buy because of its size?

are they out of production? I have 4 strikes VF-1S, 2 roys and 2 hikaru. All are fine, my standalone roy vf-1s suffers one shoulder problem and the tint in the canopy chipped off.
