  1. WOW! Check out this one! $149.99 for the bootleg M7 Fire Valkyrie? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5982412738&rd=1 Ummm........probably not going to sell.
  2. Nice! Don't forget the GBP armor too!
  3. WOW! You're brave - putting them on that railing like that. My toys stay in the display cabinet! Anyway, nice addition - show us more pics of your collection!

    Low Viz

I got mine late too, but I think I paid a fair price considering. Thanks, Lu523!
  5. I don't really care what scale - 1/72, 1/60, 1/55...whatever. I'd just like to see a cool toy for this design as well as the VF-2JA.
  6. I know, but it doesn't stop us from wishing or asking!
  7. I for one would love to see a variable toy of this design! It's a long shot, but I hope it becomes a reality eventually!
  8. Awesome! I'm glad you like the 1/60 Yamato valk. If you think that's cool, wait until you get a 1/48! WOW! What a difference. BTW, if you're in the mood for some more valkyires, please check out my for sale thread (place shame-less plug here). http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=15229 Thanks!
  9. I know who it is. It's not nice to keep secrets, GZ! Tell us! (Or at least me - PM me with the details!)
  10. If that's the case, I would buy some from them too! Let us know if you find out, ok?
  11. Nice! I like the abundance of GBP Armor in your 1/60 collection!
  12. Thanks, man! Yeah, BanDai did re-issue the Taka version of the Super Valkyrie.
  13. Even though this is a Yamato thread, I'm just going to put pics of my whole collection here ('cause it ain't that much!). 1/48 Yamato Valkyries 1/60 and 1/72 Yamato Valkyries 1/55 BanDai Valkyries JMs and a Mospeada Ride Armor
  14. Gorgeous! Nice work! I was commenting in another thread about how much I wish the Yamato would make a 1/72 (or whichever scale would float their boat) VF-1SS or VF-2JA Valkyire! Oh well, never hurts to wish, right?
  15. [Han Solo] Watch your mouth kid, or you're gonna find yourself floating home. [/Han Solo] Graham Hahahaha - funny! Oh, just noticed - I'm over 200 posts in the new forum era. (Too bad we lost all our old post numbers, but - whatever!)
  16. Can I get one even if I'm not going to be there in person? I would need an x-large (I think).
  17. Rohby - I know I'm proabably too late, but you got PM.

    1/48 Yamatos

maybe.. but we probably won't feel anywhere near as bad as the guys that paid over a grand... Yeah - I think I'll be ok knowing that I never forked out a thousand bucks for a vintage elint or super o or something like that. I'm not saying they're not worth that amount, I just know that I could never spend that much (and hope to face my wife)!
  19. I agree with the other guys here - you should get it, cause they are great. Highly detalied and very durable (assuming that you won't be dropping one for a crash landing). Just handle with care, and since you are a collector I assume that you will, and everything will turn out fine. I have two (including a first edition Hikaru VF-1A) and the QC continues to improve on these things. Watch out for the backpack piece (BP8), as it tends to break if you put too much stress on it. Also, be careful with the heatshield when transforming to battroid mode, as the little plastic tabs could possibly snap off leaving your valk vulnerable in battroid mode. That being said, mine are not broken and I had to figure out how to transform them with no instructions! So you should be just fine! Oh, and I almost forgot.............BUY THE 1/48! Hope this helps!
  20. I know! I would buy it for half the cost and then take the strike armor and put it on my nekked VF-1S Roy! So you are saying the VF-1J armored plus the DYRL Armor is not worth $200? I thought with $180 plus the $50 but I am not sure that is true according to the description. I asked the guy about clarification and he gave me a run around. No, I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that I always have a harder time shelling out $200 or more dollars for an itme tha has been opened and altered in some way. Believe me, if I had $200 extra bucks, I'd jump on it anyway!
  21. I know! I would buy it for half the cost and then take the strike armor and put it on my nekked VF-1S Roy!
  22. I started out much like the rest of you - with SW figures when they were rereleased in 1996. That was my senior year of High School. Then I graduated and went to college and found eBay. I had a Jetfire and I always wanted the BanDai and Takatoku valkyries, but could not a fford those prices (at the time), so I started trying to do custom valks. I turned old JF into a VF-1S Roy and it all went downhill from there. Fortunately, my wife is very understanding and still loves me in spite of my collecting habit! I also collect movie score CDs (I have about 680 soundtrack CDs). Anyway, back to toys - I have since gotten rid of most of the SW stuff (please see my auctions in the auction section) and now have: 2 1/48 Yamatos 10 1/60 Yamatos 4 1/72 Yamatos 13 1/55 BanDais 13 Joke Machines Now.......to focus on getting more 1/48s!!!!
