  1. Not really, but it is nice and tight.

Also i dont mind the Knee gears. Easy enough to use for me, and i ike the mechanism involved. I think its quite clever. |

  2. Im the jerk who traded with Spanner, and it was worth it! The 31 is Bandai's best plane, with the only issues I have being very minor quibbles.

Panel lining was much faster than sometimes as well.

  3. Saw the sydney press screening, and I loved it. Fun, action packed, and made me give a damn about Doc Strange, where previously I hadnt before. Agree with everything A7 said, though i thought the villain had enough charisma and presence to get him through a lot more than some other Marvel villains.

    My rankings:

    Marvel Cinematic Universe

    1. Avengers: Age of Ultron

    2. The Avengers Iron Man

3 (tie). Captain America: The First Avenger/Guardians of the Galaxy/Iron Man

    4. Captain America: The Winter Soldier

    5. Doctor Strange

    6. Captain America: Civil War

    7. Thor

    8. Ant-Man

    9. Iron Man 3

    10. The Incredible Hulk

    11. Thor: The Dark World

    12. Iron Man 2

Yeah Im cheatin with 3, but i love those movies equally and so so much.

  4. (Mind you, we see this taken up to 11 with Macross Frontier's Island-1, which, in the movies, is shown to have three distinct layers of city, with the two "correctly" oriented ones separated by an upside-down city clinging to the underside of the top layer.)

I have never noticed that, and had no idea. Rewatched the first Frontier movie and, like you aid, you can see it when Ranka does her toy commercial. Thats super cool! Are there any other times we can see this, or is there a blueprint or design series anywhere?

  5. Im all in for the 31's, but Im not worried about missing the order. I can't think of a Bandai fighter other than the 25S that was hard to get, and even hat got easier eventually.

  6. That was fascinating, thank you.

So the 29, for example, uses Fold Quartz to amplify the systems inherent in VF class fighters already; The engine output, beam weapon output, energy conversion armor, inertial dampeners all use SDE Systems, but the fold quartz makes those systems far more powerful. Because Fold Quartz is so rare, its is super expensive, and thus 29's are rare and hard to make.

Does that mean Hayates necklace is SUPER expensive? And Sheryls earrings?

  7. i should know this, but how does 'fold' energy work?

So in the original 'Fold' was basically their version of a Hyperdrive; it was the way that a ship traveled from A to B at FTL. In Macross Plus that's how it looks, like an FTL jump, while in the original, it seemed to be more like a teleport. 7 sticks with the version we see in Plus; as long as you have a Fold Unit you can make FTL jumps.

Then we get to frontier, where suddenly this energy seems to be everywhere. 25's use it in their flight systems for energy boosts, 29's use it to make the plane more powerful, the 30 uses it too.... I dont really know, but it uses it, and the 31's have it as well. Fold Crystals allowing them to access Fold Space and do things better. So is the energy of fold space explained at all? It can clearly bleed into our universe (When the FTL drive disappears in SDFM it leaves an energy void/distortion in space that is visable, usable and stays in relative proximity to the ship rather than just being a rip in the space it occured.)

So what do we know about it, if anything?

  8. sorry if this has been mentioned already but im not really liking the rear landing gear arrangement.. looks like they consolidated them with the knee cap covers which is fine if they were struggling for stowage space, "two birds with one stone" I get it, but when deployed they do look kinda crappy.. almost like an afterthought.. ahhh crap guys we forgot about the landing gear! :o:rolleyes:

Im still just happy it HAS landing gear.

  9. i truly don't get how you could be a Macross fan and don't like this series. i mean ok, there are lots likle that, and thats cool, but i can't understand it. This is everything that makes Macross great. This goes down as one of my top 10 favorite single episodes in the franchise, not just this series.

    i love this show.

    What are the chances of...

Keith being shown to be, at the very least, severely injured next episode, considering that Hayate seems to have shot his cockpit?

thats my guess. He'll have a scar or mask or something.
