There are three types of Male VA's I've come across over the many years I've done this, 1) The type that think they can act, and 2) The ones who can be don't do it and finally 3) the ones who do that you gotta keep using cause they're all you got. I'm VERY VERY VERY close on the sound mix for Zero episode 2...like if i wanted to push it, I could finish it probably tonight type of close. But I'll have to hold auditions for a few new roles and maybe think about redubbing Episode 1 to keep it consistant. I saw someone on youtube who was holding auditions for a Zero dub, to be honest, yet not to be rude, I kind of hope their project goes no where. It kind of makes me feel like I'm leaving some legacy behind to the Macross fandom by doing these and hopefully some day get some sort of a recognition for the hard work. In either case I do have some great news. Lionel, who plays Roy Fokker for Zero and DYRL has just completed his lines for the DYRL fandub. He did a phenomenal job, a lil off script at times but he did great. I'd like to congratulate him for putting up with my BS for the last few months since he's a busy man who's taken acting as a serious job and in the last 3 months has done 2 stage plays. I think everyone will like who I picked for Lynn Minmay as she's a professional Voice Actress just like the last one. I've never liked HLJ's service, it's always been slow for me in processing and shipping. Alot of packages I bought from them took 2 weeks to ship, and then if I did the slow shipping I wouldn't see it for 2 months. I've even recieved packages from them damaged, like not the box itself but the contents inside would be flawed even open not shrink wrapped box and complained, they said it was the last one they had and couldn't replace it. Last time I bought something was the UN Spacy wrist band and thought that was VERY over priced for what it was. I liked it, but paying so much for it was really a pain in the ass.

So, I've seen alot of Revoltech Macross figures on Yahoo auction, 20 bucks highest price I think. Are they REALLY worth it when you get thru all the comission fees and what not spending maybe almost 40 dollars just 1 of these? Am I going to enjoy this a hell of alot more then I would if it was a super poseable from *Gasp!* toynami?

She said she would try and stay as Ranka, she really loves the role. But she's not sure if she'd be actually willing to do long dialouge parts compared to singing. I do have a rather impressive clip coming up at some point....I'm sure people will enjoy it. I did send out stuff to my new cast members, the cast listing feels alot more complete now then it did sometime ago.

Well just got notice that my Lynn Minmay figure was outbid.........so I'm pretty bummed. I did get notice for payment on my other CM figure, they want 21 dollars for comission and wire fees and shipping, I was like "WTF?!" that's alot, going from just a lil under 3 dollars too 21 and some change. What a rip.

I'm sorry, but alot of you are spoiled little brats if you're bitching about animation and comparing it to something else. Personally, I don't give a hoot if a scene looks particularly bad or awkward in it's shot, as long as it gets its point across on what it's trying to bring to me story wise, I'm happy. I've learned enough about anime to take in the good and the bad and accept it. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PERFECTLY ANIMATED SERIES.

I would recommend getting the screw driver/tool with the swap discs, that'll make it easier to get the screws off the console so you can open up and mod the top. Just remember if you buy one of the newer model PS2's one of the screws is covered by a sticker which if taken off will void the warranty, so I strongly recommend to save money just buy a used or refurbished model.

I believe the Army and Factory are the fixed versions, but you can get the original fixed as well, Yamato USA will shell out the replacement parts for it.

looks like I found my new Minmay, Miriya and Claudia....and I'm currently working on a few more Macross Frontier clips with English vocals on the music.....it should be very interesting.

You can also try amazon.com they at a time were the best place to get MG kits at a VERY inexpensive cost. Few years back they had the PG Zaku for EXTREMELY cheap I think maybe by mistake, and alot of people (including myself) took advantage of it.

Thanks. I got Fokker from Ebay, I just didn't know he was gonna be so beaten up. Alot of the CMS figures I did find were mostly the same, Minmay sets or what not, none of the really old ones that are going to be the biggest pain in the ass to find. I went thru maybe 80 pages on Yahoo and didn't come up with much. I didn't find a DYRL esque minmay that's on bid right now, but it wont end for 5 more days.

Well I lost the Revoltech figure, but I won the Hikaru/Minmay photo CMS figure for like 5 dollars so YAY! I don't think I'm gonna owe them any money at SMJ cause I gave them like 100 dollars at one given point on my account. (I got a high limit) if their smart at all they'll take it from that.

I believe the only way to go is a swap magic disk. The problem though is 3 things 1) You need to purchase a modified Slim Top which means you have too unscrew your PS2 and void the warranty, 2) You have to break and replace a nub that's by the lid before replacing your top, and 3) Find out which Slim model PS2 you have so you can buy the right Swap disc and mod top. Only certain models will be able to use the Swap disc if I remember right. That could of changed. I tried doing this with a PS2 slim model I bought a year ago. Sadly though the warranty sticker was where you would need to unscrew. Not too mention the screws were REALLY tightly in place and VERY tiny. I think it was 50 dollars to mod it with the new top and disc. You're actually alot better off having one of the old fatty models than the slim jims as I call them.
