    If they do a 1/60 scale Zero line I'm screwed (I'd replace my Yamato/Arcadia stuff....probably). If they do them in 1/48 I'm in huge trouble! I'd replace everything and need more display space!

    Well, stop looking up your VF-1's skirts....................................pervert! I guess I had seen the wing mis-alignment and my brain went straight to "That's normal QC crap". I can see how that could drive you bonkers. That sucks. Sorry. I guess I'm lucky with my weird compartmentalized OCD. That wouldn't bother me. Other things on the other hand I will lose sleep over.

    I recently watched Kuma's review. He was all but gushing, which says a LOT! Looking so forward to it! I absolutely love the design and it appears like the toy quality is fantastic on top of that. And also........the right size!!!! I'm so sick of 6-8" Super Robots! I don't know if you're into the Mazinger stuff but CCS Toys (same company that did the Gurren Lagann) just started a PO for the Shin Mazinger Zero. And it looks REALLY nice. It's 12" to the top of the Scrander so the right size too. There aren't very many Mazinger Zero figures out there. All I know of is the SRC (too small and goofy sculpt) and the Heavy Metal (massive at 17" and 11lb - not very detailed - no Scrander). The CCS should be the new standard. If it is I'll be selling my Heavy Metal.

    Holy smokes. Can you imagine being a store like BBTS and you have all of your eggs in that basket? Even if you were insured you wouldn't be able to replace them. @Slave IV the slow boat master definitely had 187 things in there.

    I went with surface too. Maybe that was a mistake. They wanted $30 more for shipping that took two weeks though. Whatever that was. I just had something finally get confirmed as lost coming surface recently. I'm not very confident right now. I'm looking really forward to the Gurren Lagann!

    Do what I do. Don't mess with the PO madness and buy them on release day. I only paid about $20-30 more than people with PO's. Worth it!

    There are a hundred ways that Bandai could stop scalping. They choose not to. IMO the blame lies with them. The resellers are just capitalists. The same economic system that makes things like high end toys, iPhones, nice cars, big TV's, etc available for us to buy. Don't hate the player, hate the game. In this analogy, Bandai is the game.

    Better packaging generally comes with an increased shipping rate. Especially with DHL. There is a point where the box size really impacts the rate. I think now tat DHL is becoming the norm the shippers should offer two ways of shipping. As small as possible at a lower rate. Or protected from asteroid strikes for a higher rate and leave it up to the customer.
