Back on topic
I like the sulpt a lot, I don´t think the cannons are on the short side.
This toy is an almost perfect representation of the line art.
I´ll say it again, the VB-6 König Monster is at the top of my buy list

FYI dudes,
yamato isn't charging us a thing. its the retailers and etailers that charge us.
i.e. yamato can sell these wholesale to a retailer/etailer for let say $50. the retailer/etailers then come to this board or some other message boards to figure out the maximum amount they can charge.
they in turn, take that info and mark it up to the max amount(lets say its $200) if they so chose. hence we got some expensive arse toy for no reason other than we can't keep our thoughts about prices to ourselves IMHO.
That´s why I say we´ll end up paying big bucks
Couldn´t agree more with you haterist
(But I believe it will have a high wholesale price tag)
-
The koeing on the other hand is the first toy of its kind, so it could warrant a high price tag, but it shouldn't surpass the price of a non FP 1/48 IMHO. just from the comments/complaints alone in both koeing threads, theres no way yamato/retailer/etailer could justify a ridiculously high price tag. if they do, they'll be sitting on them for a long, long time.
Because it´s the first toy of its kind, because it´s as tall as a 1/48 (but the VB-6 has more volume thus more material used), because the transformation is more complicated, because it has a lot of parts...
Let me ad that we get a robot, a destoid monster and a shuttle, 3 in 1 (with the VF 1 series we get a plane and a robot ´cause gerwalk is a combination of the other two)
...Because all that, it will be more expensive than a non FP 1/48 valk.
Disclaimer: all of the above will be the reasoning of Yamato (I share some of those thoughts)
My guess is that it will cost a minimum of U$S 180 if not more.
Note: the above price is not what I´m willing to pay, it´s what I firmly believe Yamato will charge us.
I suck, I want the König Monster so...

I like the first one better. Nice design!!!
The second one is not bad either.
-
I'm gonna guess $95...who cares to guess with me?
$99.99 perhaps?

The VB-6 looks perfect to me
I like the proportions, have no major complaints.
It´s currently at the top of my buy list

Uh, isnt the Tokyo Super Festival 33 next month? Like on the fourth. He`s talking like past tense. And how did he get them if he`s in Singapore.
Bariaburu Faita
Maybe he's from the future and he already knows who going to win this auction and for how much!

This thread is so funny
Sorry but I´m laughing my ass off from people that couldn´t find the answer yet! I know how you feel
Yesterday when I was wasting my precious time over analyzing this puzzle (before getting the solution) I felt like I was "MacrossWorld Official Retard".
-
Well I lost many minutes before getting it. I over analized it
I feel like a retard ´cause it took me so long before finding the solution
-
I get the right answer every now and then but I have no idea how it works.
Vostok 7
Guess we´re on the same boat
-
I must be the biggest tard in town
I can guess when the answer is four, I don´t know why and I still haven´t figured it out
-
Have a 1/72 Glaug and a 1/48 Biorod (from Southern Cross) still unfinished.
It´s been ages
-
And, can the originals do a spread leg in gerwalk mode like in the custom? Show me.
No they can´t
-
my vf-19 also can do the pose in your pic.
but it's too far away from the custom one....
maybe you really didn't know what happen in the custom one,
the feet in the custom one is in " toe out"
and your one is just " toe in" normally,
if you think the custom one just simple spread out the feet,
sorry, that's not the point.
I know Hayao, I only wanted to show that the regular YF 19´s can adopt a spread legs stance.
Many YF 19/VF 19A owners don´t know there´s a ratcheted joint conecting the two legs that allows you to spread them.
You´re absolutely right about the position of the feet. The custom VF 19A ads a balljoint in the section of the intakes ala 1/60-1/48 style so you can rotate the legs outwards.

Personally, I´m waiting for my GBP 1S sets!!!!
But I´m anxious to get the König Monster. I´ll buy Max´s Queadluun Rau.
Now if I can dream, I want:
1. Nousjadeul Ger (DYRL? type, one of my fav mechs along with the Q-Rau)
2. VF 3000
3. SWA-XI Schneeblume
4. VF 4
One can only dream right?
-
Great custom!!!
I´ll patiently sit and wait for the final pictures
-
Thanks for the hard work!!!
Very interesting stats.
(Shame on me, I haven´t updated my numbers)

And more

uh ... my old ver 2 YF-19 can pose like that... there's a ratchet where his twig and berries should be.
show me~
What, his twig and berries?
But yeah max...i highly doubt that.
He means that the un-customized Yamato version can adopt a spread stance cause it has a ratcheted joint connecting the hips
-
Cool custom!!!! The paint job looks great.
Don´t know why but I like the sculpt of the 1/60 VF 1J head better than the 1/48
Guess I´ll be stoned to death for saying this.
1/60 GBP: Better as a non-transformable toy?

I prefer the current (interchangeable) version of the 1/60 GBP.
