    they should make enemy mecha before going into any other line.....who with me! :blink:

    I´m with you mate!!!

    For a VF line I´d kill for a 1/48 YF 21 (among my three favorite designs, being the VF 1X and the SW-XA1 the other two) so I voted Mac Plus.

    If Yamato is pulling the 1/60 MkII Monster, 1/48 Plus valks are out of the question PERIOD!!!!

    Still loving the 1/60's after the 1/48's?

    I love all of my 1/60´s (desperately waitng till my VE and VT arrive). Like others said I like the proportions of the 1/60´s better:

    1. Better canopy and slightly better nosecone (the 1/48 canopy is too bulbous and kinda kills the front view of the fighter)

    2. Correct proportions of the arms (the 1/48 upper arms are long and thin)

    3. Right size of the tail fins (on the 1/48 the tail fins are on the small side, shorter)

    4. All in all the 1/60 has better proportions for it´s three modes.

    5. I like the VF 1A and VF 1J heads more than the 1/48. On the other side I must say that the VF 1S head of the 1/48 puts the 1/60 head to shame, and the seamline doesn´t bother me at all.

    6. It´s gonna be the most complete line (waiting for the Q-Rau and Monster)

    Making the 1/48 justice:

    1. It´s a better put togheter/finished toy, barely noticeable seamlines, smooth sculpt with lot of detail (air brake, removable engine covers, highly detailed landing gears and landing doors)

    2. Perfect transformation (nothing has to be removed, not even the heatshield).

    3. Better connecting hardpoints for the weapons.

    4. The Fast Packs are incredible, no words to decribe them (all the detail and features put into them), they´re also the right size (the 1/60´s are on the small side).

    Proportion wise I like how the 1/60 looks against the 1/48. In fighter mode with the "fast packs attached" the 1/48 looks better than the 1/60 (however the 1/60 like I said has better nosecone and canpy).

    Owing the two scales is a win-win situation IMHO.

    Yeah, the new 19's sculpt is going to be great, hopefully.

    I was thinking, perhaps the reason its so delayed is that perhaps they are debating just skiping the 1/72 scale and making it 1/60th or 1/48th :p

    That´d be great! 1/60 sounds pretty good, or even 1/48.

    I´d like an upgrade to 1/60.

    So how much of the excess on the VE-1 is removable? Or are the sensor pods, FAST legs, and dish, not removable after putting together?

    Everything is removable, except for the piece that connects the radar dish to the backpack. You can´t dettach that arm.

    It´s fine by me cause no matter what mode I´ll display my VE I´ll leave the armor on (that´s what makes this valk unique) :D

    Love both the 1/48´s and the 1/60´s. I´ll definitely gonna keep my 1/60 collection. Like others said it´s going to be the most complete line. Can´t wait for the Q-Rau. Proportion wise the 1/60´s are the best ones out there IMHO.

    Please Yamato, look at my avatar and go on making it, will ya? :D

    With removable hinge for the radar dish or not, with arm armour or not, I like what I see and I´m desperately waiting till Kevin delivers these two beautys :D

    Could anyone of the lucky b@stards that got them post a side view pic? I´m asking ´cause it seems that the nosecone (thank God) is different from the one of the prototypes (which was too elongated and lacked the square shape on top). Thanks in advance!

    It would fall under 1/72.

    Right, it falls under 1/72, but then again it´s more like 1/65 :lol:

    The VF-11 should have it´s own category :D

    Hold on.....it says it's a 1/72 but you think it's supposed to fall under the 1/65 range?

    Since the VF-11 is really small compared to the YF-21 and YF-19, Yamato scaled it up to match the size of it´s counter parts :D Hence the VF-11 needing it´s own category :lol:

    Congrats on your purchase Toonz!!!!

    Will have to sit patiently and wait to get mine from Kevin along with the 1/48 Fast Packs. Now that is gonna be a big box with my precious items!!!!! :huh:
