Either way, I got extras of this one specifically so I have a spare to mod the heck out of. I can't tell for sure if they ditched the derpy extra neck shield attached to the arm shield, but I want that useless hunk of plastic gone. There's no reason for it. For all the amazing ingenuity Bandai put into this design, it's like their engineers alternated wearing their pants on their legs and head as they made design decisions.
Sad to say, the neck cover is still integrated on the shield. It's peeking on all the promo shot they have esp in Battroid mode. The shield still has that rail where the neck cover slides.

You're welcome @borgified. Like @Zx31 said, it's just a prototype. So there wasn't any metal featured on it yet. If ever there was, we don't know which part is metal. Besides, you don't expect there's going to be lots of metal in a 'Hi-Metal' toy, right?

Ok. Just to end the 'controversy' created by that old pic. Here's the picture once again and @jenius photo from his GN-u Duo review of the YF-21 to compare.
Though I want to know which 'connecting joints' you're referring to that it should be metal, @borgified?
The only thing that's good here somehow is that Bandai has a working prototype back then. Meaning they already studied the YF-21 frame and I'm sure it will look great whether in HM-R or DX form. I don't collect most of the HMR but I will surely get HMR's of VF-4, YF-19, and YF-21. But I'm definitely going to get a DX YF-21.

No. After release, you can probably snatch one from Nippon-Yasan with a mark up price. And this is normal to any TWE items on shops that carries it. I'll just give you a ballpark. If the PO says Y8000+, after release NY will price it at Y11000+. And no, Messer's Super Parts got shelf warmer too. I doubt it's the same with Mirage. So if that one got release and you forgot to PO, just swallow your pride and just order the mark up one. Don't wait for it to get more mark up afterwards.

Btw, Tking22, since they show those Spider Arms, did they show if the new Iron Man will have those booster wings since it wasn't shown on the early figure photos. And does it have the feet booster too? Just curious.

Hey David. Got my first HLJ email confirmation now. But I already contact HLJ support. Told them that I'll wait until it shows on My Open Orders and I will cancel the extra orders. Too bad I already paid the YF-19 order I have at CDJ. Well, it's better to be safe. I'll keep the second YF-19 order for now at HLJ.

Use Paypal instead. That's what I did earlier when my CC got declined. Though, you will be charged ASAP.
