I don't mind those 1EX trainers in DX form since there's no sign of any Macross HMR's. But I just have to get one. If Mirage's red is not matching Hikaru's red, then I'll just go with Hayate's model.

Who knows. Bandai's known for showing lots of stuff, canon or non-canon and not producing it in the end. But I'm pretty sure if that gets released, it's going to be the TWE route.

To answer it, it becomes a part of our pop culture. The song. The anime. The robot. And what it's promoting. It was a big thing back then when it was shown. And it affects most of us when then-President Marcos banned the broadcasting of the last 5 episodes I believe, due to excessive violence and harmful effects on children. But people's speculations is that the series was banned due to underlying themes of rebellion and revolution. And to be frank, we are being ruled back then by a dictator and he doesn't want people to oppress him. And we finally got the chance of finishing the complete series after he was overthrown during the 1986 People Power Revolution. I guess, to simplify it, it's one of those things that all Filipinos, young and old, can relate to.

When Bandai finally decided on selling those colored GBP's they've shown a few months ago, it's not canon anymore to the series.

From what's Anasazi's comment back in August when the HLJ Premium link was provided, he mentioned that the markup was 10% from the original price posted in the Arcadia site for Y38280. So the price at HLJ now probably didn't change as it was posted back then. Arcadia site has it for Y38280 which you need to use proxy to avail one. Nin-Nin has it for Y40990. The dreaded Nippon-Yasan has it for Y39000 with pay later option. But then, we really really suggest everyone not to give our hard-earned money to Nippon-Yasan if you don't want any problems later on. Do note that this is an exclusive Arcadia online shop release so expect a markup from other stores.

I just checked and it looks like it just got delivered yesterday on the proxy warehouse. Almost Y30K shipped locally. DHL will cost me another Y3700. Not bad. Looks like it's below my projection. And I have 30 days before to have it shipped.
