i love 24 and although the last ep was fun to watch (as always) some of the key points is getting tired very fast. how is it that when CTU enters lock-down people are able to still run outside, unimpeded, by that unmanned back-door? oO

i would have preferred they flopped the book but kept the current book size format. either way i dearly hope they don't cheap out on the paper. the current OMG books are amongst the best paper quality i have ever seen in a north american manga.

that is one neat pic of shanon that we haven't seen before in this thread. does paul have any comments on the spine selection? i'm concerned the darkened desert may not translate well.

i'll take the scribble case but only if it has the color desert spine

now that case i want! the one with the dark desert + blue pyramid and cockpits

i concede the full colour desert doesnt work with the cockpits :| what if we moved the b/w dessert to the top of the case and just have the spine with the blue pyramid logo and have the cockpits on the side?

what i meant by not making sense is that the perspective with relationship to the background just doesn't work for me. edit: cockpit design but with full colour desert, remove the macross text and place a smaller blue pyramid in the center..

i guess i vote 2 then i hate the 2 fighters on the desert. it doesnt make much sense. also the macross text doesnt match up with the text on the opposite side.

given that if we decide to go with the superimposed desert i put my support behind the mockup a couple of posts above (Jan 26 2005, 09:48 AM ) (we need to start numbering these) - its the one with w/o the text and guld/isamu on the spine with a smaller macross logo over their heads.

love cockpit box, not a fan of the spine..put in the desert there the triangles isn't bad but do we know how the faded backgrounds will turn out? also not a fan of the spine

ugg i guess if forced i'll vote 10..anything but 21. but i really think you guys are making a mistake by using the schematcis on the one side and having the 2 pyramids unbalanced as they are.

in thase case my preference would be a black case with the pyramids on either side (red, blue) and the dessert for the spine. perhaps make it a grey shade but leave isamu in colour. i think that would look pretty sharp. leave the top part black.

if we go with 10, given that the text is going to have to be removed what if we moved the 2 pyramid logos to either side of the case and place the cockpits on the top. keep the desert in b/w if you must but leave it text free. that way you provide balance on either side of the case.

damnit i just noticed the thread is active again. ARGGGGG anyhow i like a mix of 14 & 10. i can just see it...blue and red logos on either side, blue textless spine, and the cockpit image on top. perfect :|

apple's design team is second to none. its their marketing arm which needs to be shot. the iMac or eMac is a much better buy compared to the mini mac (mac mini?). and a laptop hard drive? ewwwww. and how much can a kybd and mouse cost now days? gotta be peanuts. the shuffle is a much needed item but some of it's design is questionable. same with the photo..it should have received a new case to differentiate it from its cheaper brothers.
