  1. +1 I bought mine 5 days ago from NY and it is on its way....
  2. the red paint on the back pack is coming off a lot on the pics provided : I should consider putting a translucide plastic film on it in order to avoid the same scratchs.... the clear plastic film can be cut from a yamato v2 sticker's sheet for info I hope it is the only main risky area for the paint job
  3. great news ! the vf-0 will need all the internal parts hidden shoulders, knees and swing bar attachement
  4. AWESOME thanks for confirming I was wrong
  5. this is awesome for the VF-1 v2 a lot of members have NOW an easy way to fix this terrible issue Veef : can you confirm that on the profile view the shoulders are not visible ? with the original parts you see nothing and the top of the shoulder is angled towards the head in fighter mode but in your last video they are a bit visible... hard to tell honestly with the angle of the camera have you correctly placed the shoulder parts during reassembly
  6. the wait has been long for the fans of the vf-17 the toy is kind of badass............ I start to understand the love for this mecha But I would like to say that the resin proto did had gaps and the final toys have them too really strange from yamato with this fresh design
  7. well, there is always a way to fix issues, but t was an out of box point without the B plan and regarding the VF-19 you could be right but as I do not like any of the valks in M7, I can not tell really.... In M7 the valks have this toy look that I do not like ....
  8. 300 usd for a macross toy is kind of insane, am I the only one surprised
  9. The VF-11B is a good toy and my favorite design but the legs articulations are kind of weak.... video reviews that can be watched on the net clearly show it If you spread the legs outwards, in gerwalk mode the valk will tends to collapse easily But I love my VF-11B the best articulations award is for the VF-1 V2
  10. mine is loose too if you look closer, they used empty pins....
  11. yes I selected 2 times SAL for vf-1 and it was fine..... they never switch to EMS... was it EMS special days ?
  12. I can not really see the method they used to connect the block of missiles on the shoulders I know that the shoulders plates are not glued... my first guess was that it has to be removed and replaced.... but the plates provided with the pack are smaller...
  13. well I second the gap issue, even Bandai avoids gaps on its last release with the VF-25F The gaps would be even more obvious if it was a white plane..... And Tking22 is right ! it is not a 100 USD toy ! Panic mode is activated for sure (big gaps everywhere)
  14. On the VF-0A, I have exactly the same problems that Graham has pointed this toy is self destructing itself (the shoulder was not the only part concerned) basically, all the dark grey plastic used is bad my worst toy ever.... It was on display in gerwalk mode for ages and now that I have it in my hand, a question comes into my mind : what did I like with this toy ....
  15. the antennas are made of different kind of plastic , that is why it is different it is a kind of flexible plastic gum... ( I guess that they have to use this material for sharp parts for the kids that we are) otherwise the entire valk use the same white plastic (not like the V1) NO BIG DEAL for info, finally got my missing part today...basically it is wearing its underwear NOW I can enjoy it in 3 modes mode
  16. MacrossJunkie : it looks great ! correct me if I am wrong : you did a flat clear coat too on the bird... gread job !
  17. you should get some tamiya quick epoxy (it is hard as a rock after few hours) and then paint it this product will solve the issue I use it for plane modeling... too bad Vancouver is it bit too far for me otherwise I would have fixed it for you ! free of charge of course
  18. the paint is spot on ? I would like to see honestly can't you see the gaps in fighter mode (I did not mention the reason of my intial complain) they should have painted the sides too, this would have been nicer in addition you can note that the engraved limits are not respected (bad masking tape position) here is a photo of mine... I will post pics when corrected
  19. Hello this is not true... Bandai needs to learn how to paint correctly a toy............ Considering the price the fact that I need to mask and then use my airbrush makes me mad
  20. For info, it is still availaible for 200 usd the last time I was searching on evilbay...
  21. the V2 is not a solid toy......... the joints used will for sure not last long unless you transform the toy once a month...... I can say that just by looking at the mechanism chosen time will tell but get ready for the panic mode in couple of months ! but well .... Bandai is pretty new in the party regarding good looking macross toy
  22. good looking toy at the end (I am refering to the previous panic move) it is the final version here merci charger69
  23. yes but it looks so wrong copy paste of michael/michel vf-25G in the animation (just in green) info found on the net by the way check the picture : 003 on the shoulder it is michael/michel I do not think that it is supposed to be a canon folder head this head is for snipers anyway I can be wrong : it is animation and nothing is impossible....
  24. I doubt mine is any different from the others I might have used the wrong words , I just like my macross toy better when the pose is solid as a rock. It is just my feelings comparing to the yamato vf-1 v2
