It's in the actual production. That's why I say when I was watching it I just happened to catch it. I've been a fan of the show since US Renditions first released it here in 1989 and I've never seen this until now.

Leave it to me to start the first Gunbuster thread on the new boards. I was watching Gunbuster for the jillionth time today and saw this for the first time since I've owned this series. Look at the botton left of the image. Someone forgot to add Noriko's lower body. And some other Gunbuster news. I've been reworking my site. Some pages are up, some are down. Dude, I feel your pain. I won this piece of garbage on an eBay auction about 2 years ago as a VCD, and was so totally iritated I did to it what I did to my Sentinels and Ninja Resurrection DVDs. (Anyone want to shoot some skeet?) I was pretty sure I made a mention of this horrible movie in the Gunbuster Fan Club, but I could be wrong.

Hmm, I had no trouble in getting a reply back. In fact, I already got my replacement DVD back from them today.

I, the incredible Noriko Takaya, am back to get my revenge on who ever changed things around. At least I got to get rid of the hyphen between my name and get it capitalized. I was shocked when I did try to log on and discovered my screen name was gone.
