  1. **shutters** that literally put chills up and down my spine
  2. this looks like the work of the guy who build that over-weathered SV-51 not too long ago
  3. I'm still surprised Katoki hasn't had any kind of work on this series. I guess Bandai has him busy designing models and toys for them It would be nice to have Okawara retire before I lose all respect for the guy. The more stuff he puts out the more I start to "not-like" him. He seriously needs to retire. It's kinda funny how the suits Okawara didn't design were one of the more popular of the series (ie Strike and Aegis)
  4. I was gonna say that...but I thought it was just me (I guess not) I'm more interested in a new UC gundam series. I want to see one of those cool side-stories finally make it to animation like Gundam Sentinal and a bunch of others which I can't remember off the top of my head BTW...Why not have a series based on the Astray Gundams? I mean the Red Frame makes an appearance in the SEED's starting and all. I guess it's all wishful thinking for now
  5. not to bomb on the man or anything but...Okawara needs to step down as the lead design guy. His designs aren't as "fresh" as they use to be...honestly, it looks like he just slapped parts from other gundams to put that together...I really wish Katoki or some new guys would design some MS's for the series with all that put aside...I think this series is promising...hopefully it's something totally new and unexpected like the first SEED series BTW...am I the only one who think's the new guy looks like a clone of Athran?
  6. i thought toynami released the legioss in 1/55 scale so you could put the tread on later on (if they decide to release it, that is)
  7. Agreed...it's nothing but a waste of money...just a bunch of extra bullcrap you'll never watch anyways!
  8. The Big O. ^_~ That's exactly what I thought when I first read this thread
  9. Who isn't?
  10. That's cool then. I just don't want to build the damn thing...I have enough problems building MG kits.
  11. I would expect the RX-78 Ver. Ka PG kit but not the Wing Ver. Ka PG...There's already a conversion kit being made for from the Zero Custom PG kit so i wouldn't hold out for the Wing Ver. Ka kit....But then again, Bandai has the tendency to surprise fans with their releases
  12. all i know is...i'm not buying these
  13. Didn't Morgan Freeman play Lucious Fox in one of the Tim Burton "Batman" movies?
  14. shouldn't you PM him directly instead?
  15. thanks for the possitive response to the picture guys...i really appreciate it
  16. you know...the funny thing is...my friend's ingram has LAPD decals on it back to topic...is there any other proto's of the Hi-Zack...like maybe a colored resin proto?
  17. wow! i got something to burn now!
  18. I'll post pics of it tomorrow. Should I put it in this threat or in another? BTW...My friend brought over his Ingram so it's 2 Ingrams ganging up on a Gouf Custom
  19. i thought the pictures in the transformation guide would be clear enough i wish you luck in transforming it
  20. I'll try to get my friend to borrow his digicam...but I'm not promising anything
  21. i think most of these pictures point to the stand with the basic rod and base. i honestly wouldn't want the launching pad myself...i really don't have the friggin' room for it. BTW...i pretty much caved and decided to order the kit through HLJ i seriously didn't want to go through them because of problems with my last 3 orders from them also...i finished up my Ingram 3 kit and have it posed bending over with club in hand and ready to hit the gouf custom...the gouf has his ass in the air and its hands covering its head...talk about police brutality!
  22. just curious but does anyone know of any good shops to get the freedom and other mg kits at a fairly good price? i just don't want to go through hlj or wait until gundamstoreandmore decides to update and ad the freedom to their site i wanted to place a pre-order at hobby search but by the time i wanted to preorder it they closed all their preorders. i also found it on jhobby but i dunno if the site is really reliable i really want this kit (since i know it won't look like crap like the other freedom releases ) BTW here's proto's from jhobby.net http://jhobby.net/product_info.php?products_id=1203
  23. i don't mind subs much anymore. i have tons of animes that are subtitled only and my nieces and nephews always watching them with me...but i hate that they have to pause the video like ever couple minutes just to read the subs...but hey, that's their fault for not learning to read fast I mean, at least they're reading...RIGHT? at least that's the excuse i give their parents when they're glued to the computer screen for hours at a time
  24. WOW...Great work...looks a hell of a lot better with all the armor pieces on. and again, it's a great color you put it in too
  25. I guess the same can go for the PG model kits. The Perfect Grade Wing Gundam Zero Custom had no metal parts at all and it's worth the same amount as a 1/48 VF-1. I think most of the price goes into the designers and sculpters. By no means Yamato is as big as Bandai. Bandai pumps out so much stuff it's literally unbelievable. At least with Yamato you can keep track on most of their releases. I think the fact that Yamato is the only company releasing new Macross toys also has to do with them jacking up prices as well. All in all, Yamato is still a good company; there's no doubt about that. I really like all their other products like their Story Image line and PVC statues. The high price tag of the 1/48 VF-1 is basically the only thing keeping me away from them. I'd much rather buy a model kit or something else I know I'd appreciate more. Sure, I wouldn't mind having a 1/48, but I could live without one. I'm fine with the 3 1/60's and the 1/72 VF-11FP I already hav. I'll just wait for Yamato to make some other VF's because like most of us here are pretty much tired with the VF-1 and are ready for something new. I'm not "bagging" on the VF-1 at all, I feel it's a beautiful and timeless design. I just want more variety in my little collection (I guess that's why people bought all variants of the 1/60's). I'm happy that Yamato is releasing the VF-0 line and the variable Monster and would gladly pay full price for them, if I have to. Why? Because it's something different. Not just another "new and improved" on the original type of thing. As much as I love the VF-1, I can't bring myself to buy any more of them now. I might get a 1/48 VF-1S later on just because of one of my favorite VF's. I'll leave it at that....I'm too tired to keep ranting on right now
