Is this actually a world wide release? Looks like an exclusive to me.
The 171EX Alto is definitely a WWM release. Probably not showing up in any of the US based sites yet since we're just finishing up the Labor Day weekend.

I thought I had pre-oredered at AE but it isn't showing up there now.
If you PO at AE they require payment upfront within a certain time or they'll cancel. Check your payment history (cc, pp, etc.).

I see, then i guess i am really going nuts...anyway, just out of curiosity, do you guys like the new matt finish or you prefer the old traditional glossy one?
Maybe time to make a poll to take some votes (unless there was one done before i cant recall, lol).

Nope.
First episode of Macross Plus OVA released August 1994.
First episode of Macross 7 TV series released October 1994.
ahh you're right! I stand corrected... I knew they were close and googled it. I guess I shouldve dug a little deeper than google's immediate results.
Spoiler

Macross 7 also released almost a year ahead of Macross Plus.

I may go just to see what they have on display (maybe pickup kid shf goku). I was originally mostly interested in getting the SDCC SHF Vegeta, Gohan and Raditz figures, but they've since been made available on pbus. I'm not expecting much since it's taking over the old Citizen watch store location. It'll be a small and oddly shaped (interior) storefront.

oh freaking hell yeah!!, I always wanted one this but always stopped from buying one cause the issue of the breaking legs.
The alto/first release afaik with my copies really had no issues other than becoming floppy and yellowing over time. The 171EX NM Plus Canon Fodder (Blue/teal) ver had the broken shoulder triangles (LER?)... pretty much all the black plastic used on that release.
I think they corrected the issue with the subsequent releases for the Alto and Luxa PBJP Idol versions. -
Sorry to necro, Bandai will be doing a re-release(?).

Sorry for asking another question so soon. But I am planning on getting a MB Red Draconics and an Amatsu Mina (Princess of the Sky version) from Ebay.
My friend warned me that both have some serious issue with their joints and backpack. Especially because the QC during Covid was very bad. What do you think? Should I just skip? Thanks in advance.
Just be careful about the MB Red dragonics... Through PBJP (and maybe PBS, PBHK, PBT) the first batch there was a QC issue with the backpack bottom thrusters having the joints incorrectly assembled where they pointed inwards (unintended) and not outwards (as designed). The 2nd batch/release corrected the issue. Those that ordered the first batch/release in japan got replacements. People who proxied for the first batch outside of japan probably ate the qc issue as the replacement parts/service may have not been honored. The first (only?) batch release from PBUS was delayed but included the replacements when they were sent out later.

Is that the Metal Build Arbalest? I had no idea it was the same scale as the others there.
Great pic putting them all together btw.
Yea bandai made a MB Arbalest some years ago. They're actually doing a re-issue along with the flight pack (separate add-on) on P-Bandai japan now (not sure if it's still available, but you can check proxy/third party sites... ie. AE, etc.).

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see the part circled initially. That being said, I think that plaque was referencing the original release date, which was mid-December 2019. The re-release was also teased on one of the Tamashii Nations social media posts a couple of months ago, so I do think it is legit. Hope people who want it can get one! (I have mine already, still unopened).
That very well could be the case regarding the plaque on the upper right corner. I wasn't exactly sure what the plaque was referencing because it was cut-off.
Yea likewise. I have mine in storage atm. -
Sharing this here:
EDIT:
I am highly questioning the validity of the post because i noticed this in the upper right hand corner of the pic:

Bandai can choke on male genitalia for doing them as a split order 🤬
Yea they really shouldve just bundled it, raised the price a little and called it a day... and just have an additional optional weapons addon for the same or other MBs

The Metal Build Astraea II is available at Anime Export:
Astraea (¥27000): https://anime-export.com/index.php?product=68546
Add on set (¥8800): https://anime-export.com/index.php?product=68545
That's actually not toooooo bad, considering with NYS sales tax and shipping from pbus would put it about 340$ for both the MS and weapon addon. If shipping from AE is about 50$ one could save about 30$ lol...

That reminds me; wasn't the Metal Structure Nu going to be reissued around this time?
If you're referring to the rumored re-issue of the official Bandai MS Nu afaik there has never been a confirmation or set quarterly window for it as of yet.

Is this for sale at the Japan store yet? I thought I would see it all over Mandarake by now.
The Tamashi Nations World Tour Event for Tokyo isn't scheduled to start until May 26th (and will last through middle of July):
https://tamashiiweb.com/special/tour/tokyo/And in the middle of June is Mexico for one weekend.
The NYC location was the location that launched first, so any listings you see on ebay (or other places ie. fb marketplace) are from those that visited the event.

Wow. Looks like a lot of folks got interested to it. It's already sold out.
geezz that was fast because when I posted it... the listing was still available. Gundamit's deposits are tough to pass up honestly, it usually starts at 1$.
I didn't order it cause I already own the MS.

I qouted your post on the Gundam Third Party thread:
Thank you! I made it as far as the 2nd page to bump up the Gunpla thread. I thought I recalled seeing a 3rd party Gundam thread somewhere before lol.
I just checked the listing and apparently its 'Sold out' atm.

Not Bandai perse...
If anyone is interested... since its a daban release:
https://gundamit.com/daban-1-60-pg-rx93v-gundam-model-kit_p2670.htmlBut it has a hefty tag... other sites/distributors are getting them in and eventually listing them in the oncoming days/weeks.

What the f... did they do to the VF-0S' wings?! LOL
I mean i know its probably molded into the figure that the range can extend that far, but iirc anime/lineart wise it wasn't designed to do that... LOL

I recall seeing one price listed for the VF171 and it was '30800jpy Now' for their listing, thus the reason why I didn't order with them and waited for Amiami later in the night. When AE gives the option for a 'Now or Later' option there's two prices listed. The 'Now' option is usually listed maybe just a few jpy less than the 'Later' option. This reflects mostly for the rest of the items listed on their site. Maybe someone who had placed an order with AE can chime in.
Sorry to hear you lost your PO with AE 😵💫
