There was a 2nd run for Japan. IIRC the release date for the 2nd run was around the same time for Bluefin's release date.

Dont forget that there are plenty of youtubers that review kits! Just goole search and you'll find them real easily.  Mecha gaikotsu is one... XD

Oh and as far as kits go, i dont have the pg strike freedom, but iirc you have to becareful of the backpack (its prone to breaking on one of the joints), thus why i skipped it. Im a PG mostly person (too many to list).  I have two reds, two blue frames and ive built one red and its holding up quite well. I also have the led exia unbuilt so i cant say, but afaik its suppose to be ome of the best pg kits cause of features, poseablity, detail, etc overall. 

You may want to look at a 3rd party maker called Nilson (nillson?). Their astray kits are pg in size and are a good bang for the buck imo.

I made sure to look at the page... I didn't def didn't see one. And it's def not my first time ordering via NY (ordering from them like 10 yrs).

Yes yes i agree! I wasn't even crazy for the black ver either. I hit the slippery slope and caught the itch. It was definitely an impulse buy for me. Damn friend pmed me about it and once i saw the weapons and then the bunny ears I caved... lol.

I should've waited an hr or two before going proxy. I would've definitely gone with pbandai us if i was aware. Hmm maybe i'll get a 2nd mb blue frame 2nd revised if it goes up via pbandai us... lol!

I goofed up and did a proxy with dj Wednesday night before checking bluefinbrands twitter or here on the forums. Maybe similar in price after shipping for me.

I was going to do some part swapping. I priced it out and almost dipped for a 2nd via pbandai us but it was close to 300$ with signature and figured i shouldn't just for part swapping, lol.

It sure is pwetty though.

Seriously F Bandai. I have a couple of the Metal Builds and can say they feel way more fragile then most of the third party versions I have gotten. I hope the second Motor Nuclear is released. Still butthurt about Metal Club. 

The MN Gold Dragon had its head and shoulders reworked last minute like the WD. I have the WD and also the GD on po.

The feet look different than showz's initial pics. The heels in particular... they're not as high. Showz hasn't post the colored ones to their site yet.

I got the MB astray in yesterday and opened the shipping box today (sprayed it down and let it sit for a day). I got the creality 3d cr10v2 in last week and been playing/tinkering around with it since then.

I think he might be referring to proxy services maybe? I could be entirely wrong. With a proxy service shipping (jpn domestic and international), service fees) would probably average about 60$ ontop of the jpn pbandai msrp of 28600 jpnyen (lets say about $265 US). In total that would come out to about what bluefinbrands starting price is $325 (before state tax if this applies to you, for most it does like me $30+ NYstate tax).

Along with their horrible shipping (even with the requested service of padding out and someone like me who doesn't mind paying the extra shipping cost, they still deny) this makes bluefinbrands the less desirable choice. Oh and my example of padding out a shipment was for my $1020 MS Nu which they refused to. The brown shipper box was scuffed up, dented and smushed... thanks to the horrible NY shipping handlers and luckily nothing was damaged. But overall I wouldn't mind giving my money to a service overseas that wouldn't mind padding out my items for a few extra dollars rather than lining their own pockets.

edit: I wouldn't have mind if the shipping cost came up to an additional $50 for my MS Nu... fkn hell I already dished out 1020 >.>. Same logic would apply for this eva 01 mb movie ed. I'm sure if I submit a request they'll bs me and politely say no and my stuff will still arrived fkd. I would probably do a cc chargeback if they denied my request to cancel.

I'm still wondering if the pbandai US site will even put up a listing (seeing as they don't list/never listed any metal builds prior iirc), but hey there's always a first right?

Just out of curiosity has anyone ever cancelled a pre-order with Bluefinbrands before or had any issues?
