  1. Who is the figure in the background? Where can I get one? Very Sexy....
  2. I Hope CM continues too. If they made the ones on the list in the first post (of course they already have made some of them) then I would be stoked. Gloval and Zentraedi warrior would be great.
  3. I think that the 1/48 scale was great for many reasons but one in particular is that it lends itself very well to dioramas because of the great amount of 1/48 and O scale models and sets.
  4. Moon act or Paris act? Which one is better? At first I liked the moon act the best and especially with that great decal of minmei Valkyrie but after seeing that one custom 1/48 yammie that was done in the paris act scheme (sorry cant find the thread) I fell in love with that. If yamato did do a minmei guard scheme which one would they pick?
  5. Thanks for the input everyone. Now I know that I really have to get one.
  6. I would get it if yamato made it. It is a beautiful design.
  7. I really want to get the yf-19 with fast packs & fold booster (I really do not want the fold booster, just the Fast packs and the second pilot seat with yang). But anyway, I am hesitant because I am not sure if this is the release to get. Is this one pretty much ironed out or am I going to find problems? Should I wait until they do another scheme (not interested in the 25th aniv) or get this one even if it is not perfect? Is it safer to get one of these than a vf-0a shin or are these just as likely to have problems?
  8. SO of those that I posed I like the CF beige colors the best and the Blue but the VF-0D will be similar so I will wait until Yamato makes that one.
  9. Here is a CF scheme that I put together in Photoshop using one of Swoosh's photos. I kind of like this scheme....
  10. That totally make sense. It would explain why so many people have stress marks even if they do not have breaks. Again. I only have one tiny stress mark and no breaks and am really happy with my shin. I am of course sorry for all of you that do have breaks as that really sucks. I knew about the possibility when I finally decided to get mine that these issues may be manifest on my valk but I took the chances. After I saw Swoosh's photos I just had to have it!
  11. Ok, now I understand what you mean but why would I want to check that? Is there any benefit for my valk?
  12. what do you mean? Sorry if it is self explanatory but I do not understand. What would that look like?
  13. those frauline figures look great! Does anyone know when they will be released?
  14. The potential is there for really nice articulating macross action figures. Yamato is making these Votoms figures that look great (a bit pricey though) and they could easily make nice Macross figures. Link: http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT34529 Revoltech's Fraulein line looks great too and makes me think that they could do the characters of Macross in this style. Link: http://www.dannychoo.com/blog_entry/eng/10...lein+Revoltech/ So, will either of them do it? Will both of them do it? Will neither of them do it? Would any of us buy them? (I would)... My wish-list for Macross figures in one of these styles (probably prefer the revoltech but would be happy with yamato): Milia Misa Claudia Hikaru Roy Gloval Zentraedi Warrior Max Bridge Bunnies set Minmei Kamjin Laplamiz Bretai Exadol
  15. I think that black pannel lines would look great too. Grey may be too close to the color of the bird.
  16. Yeah, that one is nice. I love the two seater vf-0. I hope that Yamato will do some. I suppose that they are probably going to do the VF-0D which is a two seater. Does the Vf-0B go into battroid mode (in general, not that model)?
  17. Hopefully not. The question was if they broke.
  18. OK people, I just had to check. So I did check. I checked the shoulders and the biceps. I just had to know for sure. So, what I did find was one, very minor stress mark on the left shoulder which is very small. I am posting images here. The other shoulder was perfect and both biceps were perfect. No stress marks on those and no cracks or anything unusual looking. So, although I did find one minor stress mark (and yes, I did loosen that shoulder a bit because of it), I still retain my original vote of no because my shoulders did not break. And it is not a big enough stress mark for me to consider it a future break. I am still very happy with this toy(collectors artwork figure or other proper term - I am still on the fence with this issue sqidd - I get your point but am not sure what I want to call these yet. They are pieces of art and they are low production for collectors and not meant to be thrown around like GI Joe but I do indeed play with them even though they do spend much time on display. Does the term "designer toys" fit here? I am not a huge fan of that phrase either. They are not models because I did not glue them together and paint them and they are more durable than models but less durable than a cabbage patch doll. Anyway, it does not bother me whatever people call these. I know some people would call them expensive pieces of plastic crap that should be spent on feeding the starving people all over the world and stopping genocide in darfur, and I do not completely disagree with that, guilty me, guilty me, guilty me, but anyway, I enjoy them as beautiful works of art and brilliant design and engineering and I play with them too. IMO.) Disassembly Dork: I must tell you though that I am a total moron and I stripped one of the screws!!! I know that it was entirely my fault but I wanted to be gentle with the thing and thought it was turning but then realized that I was not applying enough pressure and that I had nearly stripped most of the screw off. Luckily I was able to just barely fit it back on after taking it off and checking for stress marks and or cracks breaks . That is the last time I open this bird up (hopefully). Overall, I am glad that I checked so that I know. I am glad that I own this Shoji Kawamori design masterpiece.

    Graham's Sig

Graham has said many many many times with great confidence and certainty that Yamato will not do the 2 seaters in 1/48 scale. Not the VE-1 not the VT-1 and not the VF-1D. As much as most of us wish that it was not the case, he seems to be sure about it.
  20. That doesn't make me want to check!
  21. Agreed about the Dobber scheme... and.... Supernova yf-19 or white/black/grey(with red stripe) yf-19.
  22. ...VF-4 Lightning III. Thanks. (and I still want a yammie regult too. And load of other things of course...)
  23. My 1/60 Elintseeker stays in Fighter mode just fine. I have never transformed it though but it is tight in fighter mode on a display stand. Right out of the box it was nice and solid and I figured that i was not going to transform it into battriod mode so just left it there. Maybe I got lucky though.
