  1. It is from 45.90 from Amazon Prime [US] with free shipping. Not sure if it was discounted for regular Amazon users, prob it was. Nice!
  2. I love these two pictures. Both 1S modes in one pic, very cool. On the picture bellow, it really looks like he is in action aiming at a target. Very cool pose.
  3. @sqidd that's a gorgeous YF-19! @Kuma Style Nice job there! Special thanks to @no3Ljm making it possible, for this 1S, to be part of my collection. No3L your packaging job was so incredible, i worked my fingers to the bone, trying to unwrap it. Yes, i am joking, the packaging job was first class, thanks! It shows you care, and that's amazing to me. With that said, most members here have done an incredible job packaging items here in MW. UNLIKE amazon, since their idea of packaging is barely using a box. Check this out THERE, PACKAGING! THANKS FOR NOTHING AMAZON. Thankfully the box looks ok, and i have yet to open it. [ NISB Scott Bernard's Alpha is for sale ] Special thanks to the member who linked the special offer link for the Swordfish II. Sorry, i can't recall who linked it. This is my first ever Cowboy Beebop Ship, and I wanted it 20 years ago. I've always wanted the Swordfish II, and finally the price was just right. A Kawamori design out of the Macross world, is very special to me. It was 45% off, you'd have to a be a robot to pass it off. I put the boxes up there, because i didn't want anything on the couch... sort of OCD thing. That one in the middle is my very broken, very floppy, and soon to be dusty, 1st edition ever: Yammie YF-19. I am sure you remember, a while back, his arm disintegrated, while I was gently holding it in my hands. I may have transformed this thing some 10 to 15 times, ever, if that. I need to figure out how to properly glue it together, but for now, it will be in bird mode, flying into that wall. I still have all the pieces, I just have to get a very good strong glue to put it back together. Any suggestions?
  4. Thanks for sharing your experiences @Seto Kaiba At the end of the day people who love auto trannies can say "oh Manuals are too much work" "Oh automatics are faster and more efficient now" "Oh traffic is terrible" Or those who think they will crash because they were "distracted" by shifting, oh no! The reality is the manual experience is like no other. The way you can drive fast or slow and synch everything in an orchestra of sound, power and motion. The way the exhaust sounds under load or on the overrun. The way can do heal toe to keep the revs up without losing any momentum, while shifting perfectly. The engine notes are unique and personal, not a copy of a gear change every time. The computer will always guess what you want, but in manuals, you know what you want. It is the certainty, and the expectation, which enhances confidence and accuracy. It is a total and unique experience, but now a days since the "standard" is Automatics. In a world of lazy people or those who cant be bothered to have a proper, authentic and involved driving experience. Cars have become soulless appliances, and we are too blame for it. The one thing an automatic will never be able to replicate is reliability and absolute control. Less complex, lighter, and solid Manual systems. How many people here have had their automatic transmissions replaced? Or worked on? Or recalled? Have you ever lost control of your car? Nearly ten years of driving my car, and still have the same clutch, and the same smile on my face as I did the first day I drove it. In fact, i have only owned manual cars all my life and none of them had to be repaired, or even had the clutch replaced, ever. I am not here to bash automatic drivers, but please don't knock it, just because you don't understand the experience of having intimate control over your ship. With that said, a good driver will do fine with any transmission. The involving and intense feeling though, will not be there. What does bother me about Automatics are the idiots out there texting and talking on the phone. They have more "free time" so they distract themselves while driving. I imagine they are so bored they need to do something to kill time, instead of paying attention to the road. This is my very humble opinion, and again, i mean no offence to anyone preferring to drive Automatics. BTW, i am not sure if i posted this video before, but this is how my manual car sounds. There is no way an automatic will give you this sound experience.
  5. I don't feel stupid either, but i also don't expect the situation to improve, as Bandai seems to have a tight grip on PO availability. I have decided to overpay for kakizaki's and Roy's. Maybe, just for brownie or two, but honestly, my excitement level on the DX line is below ground level right now. We will see if my mood improves once Max makes it way to me. The turtles NY hired to deliver my Max, are taking their sweet time... One thing does bothers me slightly: Why is the DX line not including "optional parts" like Battloid mode deployable pilot seats. The HMR 1D has them, but not the DX line, weird.

Does anyone know anyone at the Shapewise 3d printing store. I wonder if they can make the non fast pack adapter for the tamashii stands. As much as i like my valks armored, I adore them in clean atmospheric mode even more. Always helping MW Shizuka, badass!
  7. Maybe I'll get lucky with the Dx HIkkie 1S. I doubt it, but i didn't order it. Lack of this kind of funds for the 1S mixed with a sudden and weird rage caused by my impotence on preorder night, made me lose interest.

Unfortunately, I will sit this one out too. I am currently very limited getting the things i really want, much less getting a bandai's obscure variant. I want to support the line, but there is so much i can do at this time.
  9. I wish i would have waited. I spent over a hundred bucks more, and then shipping. Congrats to those lucky ones who got a fair price on TV Max.

LOL, ha, so true. Hikaru will always fly the Roy colors as tribute to his Senpai.
  11. What appalling things have you seen on test tracks? Have you ever tried one? Have you ever seen someone beautifully drive one? You are not deflating anything on my end. All things must come to an end, and i am fine with that. Not because i am uninterested in a subject, it means i am going to reason why that subject is inferior, or outdated. If anything, if you really help develop these systems, you would be more than interested in what makes a manual such a "car guy" thing. Knowing your customers and how to please them could expand your business in the future. If someone makes an auto behave like a manual does, then that would something appealing to the manual driving crowd. There is a huge market there that could be captured, and profit to be made. A normal person likes to "click" and take a picture and that's it for them. A photographer knows all the settings to make that picture become art. Not everyone is satisfied with clicking something into "D" and just going. Until we get all electric in the future, people will still adore their Manual cars. No offence to anyone driving automatics.

I am sure i am not the only one who noticed this before. The "UN SPACY" printed on the VF-1 gun is upside down! For some reason Bandai printed the 1/48 guns properly, but the HMR guns have it upside down. Now i realized the 1/60 arcadia also has the gun's UN SPACY logo upside down as well. No idea why it took me this long to notice this, but it puzzles me. As I understood the UN SPACY logo is to be upside up when the gun is stored in fighter mode, but i might be wrong. I applied the UN spacy logo in this orientation on my 1/48 Yammies. As you can see the Max Arcadia 1/60 and the HMR Brownie, both have the UN SPACY upside down tampoed on the side of the gun, when in fighter mode. I guess it is not important, as it took me months to notice this, lol.
  14. thanks @anubis20 Much appreciated it. It does look good this thing. After all this HMR craze, a rear swappable landing gear is no biggie. I've wanted one of these for ages!
  15. I caved in... thanks @anubis20 I think $45 is the cheapest price i have seen for the Swordfish II.
  16. Can you give us a quickie review of that Swordfish II? Meh i think it is a good price, i may get it.
  17. I personally think they both look gorgeous. To me the legs look better on the 1/60, while the knees and intake area take the price for the Bandai 1/48. You can't beat the amount of tampo on the 1/48, but with a little patience you can get close with stickers on the 1/60. I prefer the feet on thw 1/60 as well. BTW is that just a seam on the Bandai, or is it the foot design. Good panel lining & weathering on the 1/60 @Lolicon!
  18. I disagree, i still think they look gorgeous.
  19. Thanks! i try to think of a movie poster when i arrange them.
  20. I think Bandai saw how expensive these collectibles can get, and they are making them in shorter supply to charge higher prices. Demand is high while supply is short, so they can charge higher prices, and maximize profit. That's my theory. Well intentioned companies like Yamato, went under, but they meant well.
  21. NY sent ship[ping information. At this point, I don't even want it anymore. Yes, i am kidding.
