Just got my first 1/60 the other day after hemming and hawing about it for about a year. I have a few more on order and am looking forward to the CF valks. The pics in this thread really make them look great. Those will come down the road though...only so much money. I can't recall, was there ever a CF 1S in the series? If so I wonder if Yamato would ever put that out...

This mech makes me so sad. This was absolutely my FAVORITE valk when I was a kid. I still love it to this day. But there's NO way I can afford that.

The ORIGINAL Clayface, Basil Karlo (pre-powers), would fit into Nolan's universe quite nicely, I'd think....

Yeah, but Lockdown only costs $10, not $150, and can be fixed with a dremel pretty easily.

Got UM from BBTS last night. Man that's a sweet figure. My only complaint is that mine makes the 'transforming' sound about every time I move his shoulder. Not a big deal, but annoying enough that I'm considering removing the batteries. Great fig though. Probably the best Magnus ever. I think he might actually be able to deal with stuff.

Don't know about that, but the latest rumor I heard was Johnny Depp as The Riddler in the next movie.

It's sad. I would buy the hell out of this if I had that chance. Too bad I probably won't. This and the TV Kakizaki were the 2 1/48's that I REALLY still wanted. I REALLY wanted a complete TV line. Now it looks like my only hope for that is probably the 1/60's, but probably not for 5+ years. Oh well.

That tick that Ledger used was VERY effective. Subtle, but effective.

Got to see it Sunday at WWC. Really liked it a lot. The first ep was a little shaky for me, as it was just a 'do-over' of an ep from TNBA, but it picked up after that. A couple of the episodes were REALLY solid. Timm and Co. did something really nice here. I recommend it. The and eps were pretty awesome.

I'd also like to see some Destroids since I doubt I'll be buying the 1/60's.

While I don't really have the money right now, come May (tax rebates!) I'll probably try to pick up one of these if I can find it even at a slight discount. The pics that have gone up since it got released have made me feel better about it.

Hasbro didn't screw it up, it's the retailers. The movie line sold like hotcakes and the retailers asked for more movie toys. Hence Hasbro pushed the Animated toys back.

FWIW, "Nature Calls" was one of the worst two eps so far. If you can get your hands on "Sound and Fury" or "Thrill of the Hunt" they are significantly better. Definitely kid oriented as you said though...

Maybe Alex can answer this...does the Legioss head really hang down below the fighter mode like that or is it mistransformed in those pics? If so...wow....
