Agreed. But the VF-0 though, save for the GERWALK mode at the intake attachment points, to the body, the rest of the thing sticks together pretty good in any mode. if anything, the swing bar with a VF-1esque transformation is the best I've seen and used so far. It locks the main body together so much tighter than the 1/48, not that the 1/48 had much more trouble. Oh and the fact that you don't need a paperclip to get the little nubs out? Style points there. Yes. One of the few good things of the Zero other than it's looks.

Looks like a superposable Classic.

The VF-0S was a lemon. Eugimon certainly had bad luck and it is a black mark in our book. VF-0A CF was almost completely fixed save the arms, mine have not broken yet on my 6, but are loose but can hold a pose, but the VF-0A Shin Kudo certainly made it through in my view with good arms. I think I will open all 7 of mine tonight. 3 are fine already.

I'd rather have a Yamato than a burger, it doesn't clog up my arteries and there are better tasting things to eat than a burger. There is no regulation for including batteries with any toy, and last time I heard, there was no prerequisite for being a lazy collector to buy these toys. $4 AUD for 2 sets enough for two boosters. The second YF-19 is fixed, and there is no epidemic with the 1st version having busted neck with everyone. Opening up all five of my 2nd edition and still keeping a couple of my firsts already, I can still transform them, one-handed. Non-MIB collectors, read the instructions and use common sense to work out where the joint will move. The tightness of the wing root does not become loose with multiple plays anytime soon if you transform it the way I pictured it (a fact that I will mention again ) and if it is it is entirely fixable, and need only done once in a blue moon. I have not done it once on mine yet. Oh yeah, and I'm up to transformation #34 on my YF-19. STILL nothing broken. Geez, what if MINE were the QC error? If that's the grounds for a rant, in that case, I'm going to go and piss on about my MMM GQ Impulse and Strike figures in the Gundam figure thread, and also the Gundam modelling thread. Cause it's a PLA(=play)Model.

Better than making sweeping statements which are uninformed and not thought out. I can't believe you'd argue for 4 more bucks spent while at the supermarket. If it was $20 I would damn well agree, but for the price of a burger? Eugimon has a point. Also are you going to acknowledge that the YF-19 does not have a fault with the transformation mechanism of the neck and the tightness of the wings?

Agreed. There is a huge improvement all round with the release of the VF-0A CF, but the best one is the VF-0A Shin Kudo, due to the fixed arms.
-
Agreed with the RX-78. Especially on screen. As a model though, it's not so bad. Haha a superposable regult. Soooo easy to make.....all it needs is superposable chicken legs.

Quite funny actually. Remember that the character designs not only encompass looks but also the way the characters actions and dialect. Therefore too early to tell.

Damn, I'm getting a feeling that there is going to be another Heero Yuy in this series. In that case I'll probably fall asleep for half of the show.
-
Nope.

Bright colours with modern animation, from character design to mecha design and background, again, the flavor is definitely more SEED and less X, if at all. The only thing that may possible be like X more than SEED is the story which we have info, but don't know much about.
-
I think the VF-0A Shin is the best so far. I reckon the VF-0S was a lemon, due to its clunkiness, the CF was an improvement, but the Shin was up there. I'd give it 75%....good but not quite there.
-
That's crap. SEED was better in that case, and SEED Destiny brought the Gundams down to almost the level of a mass production type mobile suit, cause they were still very vulnerable to beam weapons.
-
Nope. Wrong. There are no elements of Gundam X in the transforming one. Gundam Exia is more reminiscent of Impulse or Strike Gundam due to the armament systems compared to X, which is more reminiscent by appearance. The new transforming Gundam is definitely Murasame-like from the wings to the upward canting centre to the rear to the cockpit. NONE of the Gundams there look like any in X, not Airmaster, Airmaster Burst, Leopard, Leopard X, or Double X. Also I have no idea what you have watched, but none of the characters look like the ones in Gundam X either. Shinn Asuka and Murata Azrael. The ONLY one that looks anything like an X character is the blackhaired girl, and she almost looks like Tifa Adil, not so far from it due to a difference in appearance age wise and also hair and slight features of the face. Any more and you're going a LONG stretch.
-
Elements of SEED shining through. Gundam Virtue looks like a Murasame. Characters look like murata azrael and Shinn Asuka.
-
Probably something that (again) looks like a derivative of a Zaku.

Ah cheers. Good to know that it is not only me that has trouble with this.
-
geez. i thought i'd remember but i never bothered to get back to the first page. Cheers.

Where's this race issue? I dun geddit. Graham, he has you truly killed in the toy review department. You'd better get cracking. I guess though, certain events have made that hard recently....

I was unhappy with the first release of the VF-0S, therefore I screwed Yamato by selling off mine to people that wanted one and didn't mind that it was the first edition, and they were happy, but it prevented Yamato from selling any further.

The more the merrier. *joins in on the group hug*

Holy jesus, I've just checked out his site again, the guys also promoting adult toys, books and videos! no wonder he is making a killing! and the guy is married too!

hmmm...just used the IE (latest virgin version) to log in. It's all working. ISP is Telstra Bigpond Internet. Sorry. Don't know why I typed that.

Now he's reverting to insults. Clearly he is on a witchhunt. Eugimon, perhaps we can appease this god of quality toys by weekly offering a Yamato employee as a sacrifice? After all, they personally make the toys and make sure every one of them is stuffed up in some way or another before shipping them out to us. Perhaps though gentlemen, all he needs is a big hug.

I had no idea that we were THAT important!
