  1. Haha, it cost me $200, it SHOULD survive a 2500 foot drop! Damn you Yamato!
  2. I'm going off the anime, but yeah, the 22 that were not from M7 have red visors, blood red ones.
  3. Plus the rest of the fighter scheme is wrong. The VF-22S Max has grey accented shoulders and also a yellow visor and black gunpod.
  4. But you've never played the game? That blue would not be Max Blue. It's a much more different version than in the anime.
  5. Like me you just pose it, no?
  6. The pic you displayed is basically it. It was a darker blue than the Max version. If Yamato acquire the licence for M7, then they an release the Gamlin, Max and Millia versions too. I'll bet that will recoup back some of the costs EASILY. Might as well, seeing as it will only need a face change, plus colours etc etc. Plus a few boosters (sound boosters). There may be some alterations to the underside to accommodate missiles (a nuclear one) for the M7 version. And they've already made the Fold booster. Time to make booster mounts that are compatible with the VF-22 then. So many possibilities!
  7. The Konig was always bound to be a POS. The only breakthrough was the bloody fact that Kawamori made it transformable.
  8. Ummm hello....VF-X2 licence....as the Konig Monster already attests.
  9. Just do the safe thing and order one first, like me. If its good, then you can batch the rest you want to buy.
  10. Sturmvogel and VF-19A here we come!
  11. That's why I'm only buying one. If all is good, and there is no possibility of improvement, then I will get a further 6. Ya hear THAT Yamato!? Get it right and 1 person will buy 7!!!
  12. Look at the amount of moving parts....incredible....
  13. Congrats to the person who foresaw the way that Yamato would design the nose fold joint.
  14. Those over the wing boosters look like a damn stupid place to put them. Alas, that is Kawamori's fault, not Yamato's...they were only following the schematics.
  15. You were saying?
  16. I think they just dropped the height of the original plastic tray so that the belly is closer to the bottom of the box, then they put the fold booster on top.
  17. I dunno, if it rests on its landing gear I thought it would stay together. I can imagine that it would bend in the middle on the stand though, for sure.
  18. The box was quite small yes. I was pleasantly surprised.
  19. They are kind of like a symbiote Transformer then.
  20. Checking out the stress mark in the common section, why worry? That part doesn't even move. The stress mark is caused by an ill placed screw.
  21. That's a nice way to do it. Damn and it's a month away.
  22. Try Tfing like this: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?s=&a...st&p=498255
  23. I have no idea what you guys are talking about.
  24. With con B, I think he does if you extend the length of the leg one notch. The only thing I found that doesn't stick well is the fold booster, which is certainly a display piece.
  25. That's the thing, again read. I don't have to tighten them every time. I never had to. Are you just brushing off my comments as an isolated case cause it doesn't support the argument, and discard the fact that it is possible, not only by me (through repeated numbers) but by others as well? Would the fact that Yamato never made a change to the transformation mechanism cause there was nothing wrong with it in the first place and served to securely hold the neck together in fighter mode? Are you also discounting the fact that ALL toys get looser with repeated movement, and really try to nail it on this toy simply cause its made by Yamato? ' With the battery issue, it doesn't matter if they have a insulator, the battery isn't fresh, and in temperate climates like China, which most often is above 16 degrees celcius, batteries will experience a trickle discharge and lose some power over time. With the transportation and storage that a battery goes through in a toy from overseas, I'd rather get a set from a high turnover store locally than wind up with half spent batteries.
