What shipping option did you pick? Well, I must say, after owning a 1/48 Hikaru 1J, I can honestly say that this new 1/60 has everything about the 1/48's that I loved (And more!!) and nothing that I didn't like. It's more solid that any valk I have ever owned and even more solid than my YF-21 which WAS the most solid valk I had. It's even more solid than the 1/48. This valk for me is the new benchmark for everything else that Yamato puts out from now on. I usually don't mess with the stickers, and while I didn't go as all out as I could have, I did place all the other stickers I thought were major. And has promised here's a quick pic with the YF-21 : I owned the 1/60 Super Ostrich and this makes it look like something made for toddlers by Playskool. I'll take more here in a minute. -Kyp

My 1/60 Roy VF-1S stand alone came in from HLJ!!! I probably won't be on for a while, lol. But there will be pics of it with my YF-21 when I do get back on. -Kyp

Bumping this to ask if anyone who has the new 1/60 Roy 1S has changed their minds about selecting the 1/48 VF-1 as their only Valk if they could only have one... -Kyp

LOL...no, not yet. I had originally ordered the FP version, but with their delays getting them and me figuring I wouldn't be using the FP's much as I'm not a big fan, I decided to go with HLJ for the stand alone version. *EDIT* Whoo-hoo, according to the EMS tracking, it arrived here in the U.S. @ JFK airport in under 24 hours from the time it was shipped from Japan. -Kyp

I went EMS from HLJ for the Roy stand alone version so maybe I'll have mine by Tuesday. I was gonna order trough LOS, but got fed up with their shipment being delayed by customs. -Kyp

And when I translated the wording for it's release date, it said "undecided", in other words, TBD. -Kyp
