  1. agree...agree... I think I'll wait for more pics & reviews before I declare bankruptcy....... Like many others, I like the blue cloud background box more.
  2. Sure.....maybe next year.... ..my wallet is boycotting me
  3. VF-1S Hikaru (hero in DYRL) or this baby (got destroyed in TV series.....) which one to get ......difficult decision ............ wait a minute.....I don't see any strike cannon in the box......extra hands though
  4. I guess most people have their valks safeguarded by their pets while taking these 1/48 pictures
  5. I agree, these stickers are generally better than Yamato provided ones. They are thin & do stick well. However, they can be even better. Here are some suggestions: For 1/48 VF-1 valk sticker (Regular) - the sticker for the air intake (turbine section) should be made a little bit smaller, don't seem to be perfectly fit inside the intake ceiling area. - it'd be much better if they are pre-cut, time saving & reducing the risk of damaging while cutting it. For 1/48 FP sticker - those "Danger" stickers would look better on the FP if they were in white rather than red (but that's just my opinion). They should be made a little bit bigger too. - those colored "arrows" place on the leg armor shouldn't have those white border lines around them - those "Armament - HMMP-02" stickers should be revised so that they can be properly placed on the back armor.
  6. Loose Canopy .......Again? <_<
  7. Thanks for the pic, I got that one too but this is where I got stuck, doesn't seem like I can place the "Armament....HMMP-02" sticker over where they put stickers #95 because of yellow stick out slot
  8. I am trying to put those Takatoys 1/48 armor stickers on my FPs, just don't know where to put those labelled "ARMAMENT.....HMMP-02" yellow ones? Could someone please give me some help........
  9. Couldn't agree more...... ...but I think I might pass this one too & spend that on VF-1J w/FP.....my budget is really tight.....
  10. Looks like this has just been released in Japan & H.K......... VF-1S Hikaru .....since I don't have the VF-1A Hikaru, it's very hard to resist the temptation....
  11. Got your email Takatoys, will send you total when your FP sets are ready........
  12. Has anyone got any response from takatoys lately?
  13. I agree, the deep striker looks good ....yet pricey...that's why I'd like to see how good this latest one is. There are only a few I like in that line. Fix 0011, 0013 & 0017a/b. Fix 0011 seems to be the cheapest among these three...... 1/144 scale seems small, it would be better if you could make a slightly bigger scale like the MG 1/100, but then it will cost more and you have to paint those.
  14. I'm tempted to buy this one......could you provide a brief review on this one? Do you have other FIX figures? Is there a revised version of Deep Striker (FIX 0013) coming this month?
  15. Did you buy the Blue one or the red one? What's the difference between them anyway?
  16. with FP..... I guess this VF-1J comes with different hands.....
  17. this set of hands are the same as the other 1/48s....
  18. saw some pics from hobbysearch.....these set of hands seem to be bigger than the other 1/48s
  19. Hilarious.....
  20. Just heard about this Takatoys' stickers thing....got a couple of questions here: So even the Macross emblem (the one placed on the fuselage) has to be cut out by scissors, they don't just peel off like the yamato stickers? As other members mentioned, the Takatoys' stickers are very thin. So when you peel them out of the sheet (after cutting), are they easily damaged when not peeling off cautiously?
  21. Rob, I need one Black heatshield (C1)
  22. I did try wiggling when taken the booster out, the holes on the right hand side are just too tight for the pegs that I could hardly wiggle a bit. I guess I give it another try. Thanks for your advice.
  23. I got mine yesterday, those FPs sure look awesome , I did try to put the FPs on & off several times, go very slowly and gently, so far so good, generally satisfied with them. However, I have a couple of problems. 1) When I put it in battroid mode, it appears that I got to pose the valks in certain position in order to keep that balanced, those boosters certainly created a lot of weight. 2) There are two square holes at the back pack made for boosters to attach (where the metal pegs of the boosters are inserted) . The holes on the left hand side are fine, those on the right are a bit too tight, I can not put the metal pegs all the way inside these holes. I don't want create any damage by forcing it too much. Anyone FPs' owner is experiencing similar problems? If so, any suggestions to solve these.
  24. That's the typical delivery time to N.America if shipped by EMS.... I ordered 2 packs from them, for my MAX & Roy. Should get those by next week. Can't wait to put those babies on my valks ..... I guess those loosen single micro-missiles shouldn't be too hard to fix...
  25. How many FPs did you buy? Did they ship by EMS?
