  1. Love how they manage to add proper locking mechanism for the nose and main body section in battroid. No balance issue whatsoever.
  2. You must push firmly in the rear part of the canopy, you will notice the front landing gear bay begins to push itself down, you can help by pulling the landing gear bay down as you push the canopy down, the nose section must be in place but not locked with the fin, at least, that's what help me, I was scare shitless in this part. For the central fin, make sure the main hinge is properly extended. Finally had time to fondle myself....errr, I mean the valk, hehehe Gotta handed to Yamato, this thing is beautiful and amazing, the transformation is brilliant and I never really like the way battroid mode was for the VF-4 but Yamato pull it off in a way I'm quickly falling in love with battroid mode, glad I ordered two of this babies. Chin is intact, no missing fins or leg covers. Small gripes, those missiles bays are a pain in the ass, don't know why they were not glued, the right leg was looser than the left but still firm, the pilot figure is horrible...too small, bad details and shody painting. I really hope the VF-4 sell well enough for Yamato to mass produce it, I guess they were worried people would not buy it since it was not gonna be the FB2012 Hikaru scheme, but that thing is done so well they could make a pink pecker version and I would still get it. Rats, guess I'm hooked again; time to get me VF-11B and C
  3. fantastic head mod!! yes, a lot of us would like one of those for our own. Got my VF-4 on hand and its beautiful... will transform later to see if I'm not missing anything. Swoosh it a few times and back to the box for later fondling. hehehe Those panel lines are thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin
  4. Really weird that LA customs has everything delayed, isn't there a way to contact them and see what the hell is going on?
  5. We're on holiday over here, my VF-4 is probably ready for pickup but it won't be open till tuesday. Sucks, my 2nd VF-4 is on its way. Great customs guys, first thing I'm gonna do after swooshing my valk is get rid of that made in china and start panel lining. I think if you apply a clear coat first can make the capillary effect easier, although, I have to see it to understand you guys.
  6. VF-5000 V-3 VF-14 VF-11C Armored X-9 Ghost I'm suprised everyone's forgotten about this one, VF-0S Reactive armor!
  7. I keep telling that to my gf!
  8. I ordered a second VF-4 to fully customize it into a FB2012 scheme, seems like a very easy custom, specially since you can just pull apart the rear tail fins and the nose is probably hold by a few screws, I'd have to see if the light gray plastic will suit the scheme or try to fully paint in white. Wohoo!! my VF-4 finally arrived in Miami, now the agonizing 3-5 days shipping wait to me and pick it up.
  9. I wonder what does the handling personal at JFK might be thinking of the sudden onslaught of this toy plane and the marked price on shipping papers... hehehehe
  10. Panel lines sure make the fuselage come alive. Nice weathering. I wonder if there be someone who will not add the skull and bones on the tailfins? hehe Mine's in New York getting sorted....
  11. So...a VF-25 with delta wing... Bandai sure knows how to milk their products, never liked the Frontier designs still not liking them. What I particularly don't like if how every valk in Battroid mode from Frontier forwards looks almost the same....very Gundam. Aside from how this will be near impossible to get and expensive as f*ck.
  12. Damn seeing that nail popup on camera everytime was disturbing, I know a lot of asian people who keep their pinky finger long, but not as long as that guy, they never tell me why. Yamato should add an acrylic pinky nail for us to properly transform out valk!! Something I never noticed on the pictures before, why the hell is "Made in China" tampoed in huge black letters on the wing!!? looks horrible! Video quality wasn't too good, but at plain view the chin didn't look all beat up and its properly covered during transformation. This vid was pretty good! glad I ordered another one, one thing I learned from this video though, it will be a very easy custom into a FB2012 scheme.
  13. My VF-4 is already in transit from Japan. It has to arrived to the US and then forwared to Panama, I'll probably get it by the end of first week or beginning 2nd week 2013. Damn it, that chin close up is terrifying!! I really hope is a one off thing or I'll be pissed again with Yamato, after almost 4 years of not buying anything Yamato. And I just ordered another one................ BTW, Nippon-Yasan still has them available, the price has been lowered to 296.18 + 54.66 and got billed a total of 350 with current Yen. So if you still want to grab one and don't mind NY extra shipping charge you better hurry.
  14. Shipping confirmation from NIppon-Yassan, woohoo!!
  15. preparation in progress for me too from NY So was 360 shipped to US the final price from them?
  16. I hope the panel lines are deep enough
  17. Great set of pictures, surprisingly simple transformation, I can't wait LOL I was trying to see if there was a view pic of that squarish VF-1 in the back, hehehe, and WOW, that Yamato Macross collection in the background just wow! The VF-4 is begs to be panel lined.
  18. I payed last week with Nippon-Yassan also, I didn't get a payment request but I tought prudent to pay now (Before I end up broke after X-mas). Eventough I got an invoice with the old price, I was billed the adjusted price (USD 360)
  19. indeed. Have already this payed and just patiently waiting for Yamato to not let me down.
  20. pffft....the Regult...somehow Yamato manage to make people to pay 400 dollars for an unassembled, unpainted egg with two legs that doesn't transform, and they were wondering why it didn't sell as quickly as they expected. On topic, I seriously doubt we'll have the VF-4 for christmas, will probably be a late December release. I see a Gunpod!! If no stand, will Yamato include at least a gunpod for the battroid mode they've worked so hard to get right?
  21. Gotta say, gloss black suits the VF-4 very well
