I'm a bit confused, does Luca's RVF-25 has a G type hear or J Type, there was a scan of a green VF-25 in battroid with an G style head... and we all assumed it was Luca's, but now in the Frontier page it appears with a J type head.. hmmmm....

I recheck the episode again, since I couldn't believe a macross episode could go with such a big mistake, so I checked frame by frame and the x-gear detaches and becomes the seat, in the scene were Alto jumps from the cockpit you can see the x-gear reattaching to his back fram by frame... sweet.... also with Guilliam when he ejects before his doom

hmm...I don't see this whole 'too fast' trasnformation thing on Zero the VF-0S transformed wickedly fast as well as on DRYL, specially on the Max -vs- Millia scene on Macross plus, the VF-11, YF-19 and YF-21 transformed very quickly too Macross 7, Max's VF-22S trasnformed wickedly fast except for Basara, Gamlin and the VF-11 that were constantly shown voltron style transformation (rather annoying after a while) infact, I rather feel when the VF-25 is on gerwalk and switches to fighter, the legs move to place too slow, like if they were extremely heavy don't know, it's just me

I have a dual-core 2.8GHz 3GB usable SDRAM, 8600 GTS vidcard, but my pc hated that h.264 file, but I managed to play it via firefox, until I downloaded a much friendlier version back on topic: noticed a rather annoying error for me, don't know uif it has been mentioned before... when Alto gets in the VF-25 and starts shooting before episode 1 ends, he's wearing his X-gear, later when episode 2 starts his X-gear is not on and sorta looks like a seat, yet when the CG image on the valk appears he's with his X-gear again, then switch back to non-cg and his X-gear is in place of his seat again, in the whole chase scene, he's not wearing the x-gear, up until the very second he jumps to rescue Ranka and his X-gear is magicly on, comes back to the cockpit and his x-gear is not on again.... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........

Mikhael or whatever is spelled had a small visor on his right eye, either way, it's the year 2059, I'm sure the helmet visor can adjust to his eyes refraction... hahahhaa oh yeah, I'm not liking either how Ozma is drawn...it looks...weird, never been a fan of this flash style anime design

wow, amazing episode, but the cliffhanger ending is too mean, now we have to wait another week to see what happens anyway, won't say much about it since most of it has been said but I really really love the detail of how Alto's is using the VF, if you notice carefully, when he's grabbing Ranka on gerwalk, he's carefully touching 4 buttons on the joystick that most likely control each finger... SWEET!! love this kind of details, and I also liked how Alto was denied getting a VF...unlike certain other shows were kids get into robot just for the heck of it and everyone lets them do it and how the hell did Sheryl's earing end up with Guilliam belongings?

damn, as excited as I am for the A variant for Luca's valk, I'm also sadden that he will most likely end up blown up... Kazizaki colors + inferior designation valk = bye bye

I've always been under the impression that opening scenes usually carry more detailed animation since it's the "Opening" scene and most catch your interest somehow

oh yeah, of all the scenes they had to cut out?? couldn't they cut out the silly double transformation from Ozma's VF-25, is it really neccessary!?

errrrrrr...sorry about changing the topic, don't know if it was answer, don't want to check 26 pages for this anyone has a problem with the VF-25 cockpit?? seems a bit lowtech and a downgrade from previews VF's, I mean, from the YF-19 forward, all the cockpits had the nifty full view screen, as well as the VF-17, so why would the VF-25 just have the classic 20th century cockpit with just the canopy view???? any ideas!?

hmm...just watched the RAW, they've cleaned up the animation, but I most say the editing was a little off, a lot of moments just don't make sense, most of us understand thme 'cause we've watched the DE, but I guess a new viewer would be a bit confused, I can't say I don't like it, it's still an intriguing episode and loved the new concert scene (Sheryl is so hot) , makes more sense and Lt. Glass has more airtime also, but what I really dislike was the BGM pacing, it doesn't flow with what's going on, it's out of sync, and for me it's take out a lot of excitement from the episode... oh well, still good, can't wait for episode 2 YEI! MACROSS FRONTIER IS HERE!!!!
