  1. I thought Kojima said that this will never happen http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3146949
  2. That was exactly my point. I understand that the Pioneer ones are high end, but the other players are still over the 1K mark. And this is just the player, The Ps3 will have the "cell" processor (is it still 7 of them?) and the Nvidia 7000's series GPU. I know Sony will be selling it at a loss, but this seems like too much of a loss. I'm all for it if Sony takes it for us
  3. Question: At the CES, pioneer (one of the makers of Blu ray) announced their Blu ray player at a retail of $1,800.00, so how is the PS3 going to be the same price as the 360? And someone mention this before, the blu ray players are a 1X, for games Sony will need a faster Blu ray drive (wouldn't that cost more?) Unless Sony don't care about load times I mean the point of Blu ray is the storage space, so the textures files will be huge!
  4. Those of you who have Xbox live account should check out EA's Fight night on the 360, it looks amazing, looking at this, it feels like next gen is getting there (it looks really good). I can't wait for Gears of War and Ghost Recon.
  5. WoW! nice pics! Welcome to the Board. By chance do you have Transformers pictures?
  6. Happy Holidays Everyone, I'll post pics after I open up the presents
  7. LOL! I can't believe you remember that! the guy difinitely did his homework on the fights
  8. 99.9% of that is in game animation/graphics, if you notice, the hug part is part of Sakura's grapple and Ryu grapple moves, the frames were edit to make make it "sync". very impressive. very time consuming
  9. It’s awesome, they used like 99.9% all in game animations and can you image the time they planned for the fights! http://uploads.ungrounded.net/276000/276650_MKvsSF2.swf
  10. you can check this list out for Xbox games on 360. DOA 3 is on the list http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardco...tygameslist.htm
  11. Shadow of the colossus pays alot of homage to ICO, hence the the code name NICO (Ni=stands for 2 in japanese). When you finished it, you're see alot more...won't say anymore About the lizard tails, you ,must collect the "white" tail lizard if you want to increase your grip meter. The fruit you collect will increase your health meter. (just don't eat the fruits in the secret garden, it will reduce your health instead). Currently I am debating which game is the best game of 2005.. SOTC RE4 GOW I like them all ;;
  12. I heard that the 360 will have shortages http://ve3dboards.ign.com/board/b10569/22162268/p1/?44 Where are you getting yours?
  13. If Nintendo allowed this, I'll bet it will be a system seller QUOTE: They’re lovable. They fetch you presents. They obey your commands AND work hard to earn you money! They’re…not real women! Well, we knew that, but I think they could be on to something with this Chinese web site’s spoof of some new dog game for the DS. If this idea ever gets the greenlight, the big N might have to rethink their “touch me†tagline. Are you listening, Rockstar? Link: http://wireless.joystiq.com/entry/1234000237064563/
  14. LOL! I just notice I typed "weekend" twice.. can't think right now...playing Shadow of the Colossus. One of the most AWESOME games I have played this year. Current best PS2 action for 2005: 1. SOTC 2. RE4 3. GOW I want to add MGS3, but that was release last year (the reissue don't count even though it has tons of new features)
  15. If you guys really want to try the 360 that bad, I think it will be at the IGN Live this weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center this weekend. It's like E3 for the Public
  16. if this is actually true, I think it will hurt Sony "PS3Today.com and PS3Focus.com have reported a recent Japanese article about PS3 developer support, which has an insider source claiming that the initial investment for PS3 software development it at least ¥2 billion (U$S 17.6 million), and that figure does not include the actual development costs associated directly with the title. This initial investment, according to this insider source, is "nothing but a nightmare for many Japanese software development companies." The article also reveals that the prevailing rumor in Japanese game development circles is that many companies may end up developing for the Xbox 360, which will lower R&D costs since the system shares many similarities with Windows game development, allowing developers to release a single title on both platforms. "
  17. WoW! Otaku can afford a trip to space and now a Land walker!
  18. I have the OXM November 2005 issue with the game demo disc#50 and there's no playable Xbox 360 demo on it. Please enlighten us where you got the 360 playable Demo.
  19. LOL! At the rate of playing all those movies at e3, Sony should have just played a FF7 AC trailer on a regular DVD player and claim it to be the PS3. MS however had games playable!! About the MGS 4 trailer, yes that is real time and its what you can expect in game from their engine. I would not put Konami on the same boat as Sony's Propaganda crap. Without the MGS 4 trailer, I don't see anything that is mind blowing on the PS3
  20. 335259[/snapback] My Bad, the instance I saw the cop car, I automaticly thought it was Prowl. Please ignore my previous post
  21. Does anyone know the difference between the Powl that was released and the re-release one (besides the box and the figure)? http://www.hlj.com/product/TAK64287
  22. I agree with ComicKaze, the "new SP" screen is better than the micro and the DS. yes, there is a minor refresh issue with the SP (its' really minor), but that's because the screen is brighter, crispier, and the colors are more vibrante that you can see the refresh issue. I also agree with mikeszekely about the micro, the micro is truely portable. When I travel, I'm more likely to bring my micro everywhere I go now and leave my other "portables" home. I have the Play-yan micro which converts my micro (or SP, DS) into a MP3 and MPeg4 player
  23. I'm guesing we will have another format wars ;; Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. announced they will release its movies in Blu-ray format, in additional to HD-DVD format. Paramount Pictures Corp. had also made similar decision earlier this month.
