True, but the whole point of having a cool hero is to have an equally cool villain. I'd personally LOVE to see Venom appear, but that'd take at least another movie just to create a background story for the costume before Venom himself appears.

Well, if you watch that one episode of M7 where Basara is pretending that his VF-19 is a VF-1, you'd see that those joints make no sort of 90 folding movement. He just has them swept back, then sweeps them forward.

I could say that I'd easily pay $50 for a toynami alpha, but they'd still sell it at $80 I mean sure, if they were listening to us on this forum and chortling while rubbing there hands together, then we're halfway there to dooming ourselves. I think someone posted a link to his webpage before. Basically it's a balljoin instead of the rachet in the crotch, and he shaved off plastic from the join right below the intake to allow the legs to bend farther forward in gerwalk.

I can almost see the clear blocks of plastic under the batroids crotch preventing him from falling backwards. Looks really good. The photos are from Yamato now, so maybe that's the extent of the transformation. crap, it still looks good. Maybe the only thing bothering me is that the battroid mode looks a little fugly, but oh well. Great detail on the booster area.

I dunno. I figure, since Eden had all those little holographic projectors, Macross city would logically have tons more. But yeah... I understand your point. You pretty much have to suspend your disbelief, and the same lot who are still clinging onto the hope that Macross 7 will just go away and disappear will probably be disappointed with Kawamori's decision to include this mysticism into the Macross universe. It's kinda like George Lucas how he made all these great movies, then he had kids, and his movies got all weird and cutesy, and arguably, crappier. Kawamori obviously had some crazy revelation with all this Earth Love stuff, what with Arjuna and the upcoming Aquerious and he fully intends to incorporate it, for better or for worse, into Macross.
