Anyways, Hicks, based on reports from the Wonder Festival 2005, it looks like Yamato's Macross toyline is coming to an end, at least for now.

The movie is out in Hong Kong already, but it won't be released in the US until March. And who knows what Columbia might end up doing with it. The film is made by the same people who created Shaolin Soccer. Reviews have been positive so far, but has anyone actually seen the movie?
N. Portman and I once took the same class back in college. She really didn't stand out. Just like any other person. I guess make-up can transform a person completely.

That's right, "Ghost in the Shell: Innocence" by Mamoru Oshii is one of the nominees this year.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the very first Japanese animated film to ever compete in the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in France. Quite an accomplishment. Anyone seen the film? Is it any good? Thanks.
