I got mine yesterday from HLJ. Generally speaking the toy I got is Ok, no problems no QC issues. Only one small peg fell while I was transforming the cannon barrels, but It is now back on place and working fine. I really love the work Yamato made with this toy, I was amazed with the transformation and the sturdiness of the Monster. This is a super cool toy.

Sorry, but the RX 78-2 is allready annoying. Having SO MANY cool designs in the Gundam universe, BanDai keeps releasing the SAME OLD designs over and over again. We have RX 78's in all possible scales, all possible matherials and stiles. COME ON! I really dont care If this rendition to the 78 is better than the others, I am just tired of the same. At the end if you take any decent RX model and apply decent model skills it will look just great, the rest is just opera

He is a beutifull Baby LTSO, Congrats to your Wife and you. I guess you can hardly get any sleep now, just endure the first 3 months, later all will be nice. I have a 1 year and 6 months Mini Me and he is the best ever happened to me. Also now I have an excuse to go in toy shops all the time and my wife cant complain By the way... seems we are getting old. Really.

Yeah there was this HUGLY Matchbox Robotech VERITECH released for the 3 and something inches Robotech figures. It cannot transform and it looks like pure crap. I never kept any pic of that Valkyrie abomination, maybe somebody else have some for.

what I really wanna know is what's going on with the YF-19FP... yeah, let's talk about that instead. We haven't mentioned that in ages!!! Why talking about the YF 19... It will only make us depressed. And we wont see poo till next year anyways... or till 2006 if we EVER see that YF at all. I think the Poo chat is much more interesting. ah i know! maybe someone in yamato drops the 19FP line art or prototype in the poo and therefore we wont see it coming anymore any backup copy? NO! Nah! I will tell the real story about the YF 19. Yamato had the sculpt ready, but before they made the molds, they gave the prototipe to Graham for advice (like they usually did) Graham secretely, took the toy to the bathroom, so nobody could see the YF, but accidentally drop it in to the bowl... You know, a british would never dirt his hands, so he just flushed... That is the story, that is why we do not have YF 19 and why Yamato dont speak to Graham anymore.

By the way. Anybody knows about this figure??? It is made by Romando. While it is painted and everything you still need to add the policaps. And is a pain in the ass. I got it for dirt cheap in the HK airport, about 120 HKD. The finishing is quite impressive. I saw this guy in Romando web Site. It is out of production and the price was about USD 100. Looks like I got a good deal!

Just wanted to say THANKS to Graham for taking care of me AGAIN in Hong Kong. Its been the 3rd or 4th time he spend his time taking me out for shopping and hunting Macross toys around HK. Well this time I bought only two Macross Items… heh Once he even took me out with my baby and wife! That is saying too much. Believe me. It is great to have a site like MW, where members are willing to help others without asking anything in return. People they barely know, or just don’t know at all. I am truly thankful to this site for letting me meet friends on line, and later be able to meet them personally just to find we have some wonderful people here (well that do not applies to everybody.. some guys are just into drinking and never finishing millias customs, but ho well). On the other hand I am kind of missing some things on the site. In the last months things really changed here. Funny how our holy Kawamory and his Froating head lost his holiness in about a month. Takas and bandais… Chunky Monkeys. And Yamato… on the way down (they may deserve it anyways) First the post of the toys section outnumbered the Model section, and then I can see lots of new threads in the Other Anime and Sci-Fi forum, but only there. Looks like we are loosing something important here… as we are loosing the old members. Sorry about my comment, but looks like the only thing we do well lately is to complain about everything.
