I'll agree as well. I had the VF-1S 1/60 which I paid 40 dollars for, but then about 5 months ago I landed a 1/60 strike so I figured hell with it, sell the original. I actually sold it for 58 on ebay. So I made 18 bucks on a decaled, transformed multiple times toy.

I'm on the 1/55 side as well. I have a few 1/48's, 1/60's, and the 1/72's, but they're nothing compared to my armada of 1/55's, Only difference is that I only have one Brownie, so I use all my cheap banged up Jetfires as fodder. Besides, articulation wise they were top notch compared to TF's and all other transformable toys at the time.

You guys keep holding out hope. I'm hoping for a Regult!

Don't own one, but I do collect the Final Fantasy swords (the full size ones) and so far I have Sephiroth's, Clouds Advent Children sword, Squall's Gunblade, Tidus and Auron's.

Karas...that's what I get for buying an Anime at Walmart. Wings of Honnemaise (possibly the most boring Anime of all time) On the other side, why does everyone blast every Gundam series that isn't Universal Century? Destiny and G Gundam weren't great, but I for one liked Gundam Wing and Seed. Those series have given us probably the coolest mecha in the Gundam Universe (Deathscythe Hell, Heavy Arms custom, Wing Zero, Epyon, Freedom, Strike, Red and Blue Frames....etc.) and the stories aren't all bad, I've seen far worse.

Ok, here's what I would recommend, although I only know the US release names: 1. Gundam: Encounters in Space (It's a Zone of the Enders knock off, but a really good one) 2. MS Saga aka True Odessey (If you like RPG's, you'll dig it) 3. Gundam: Zeonic front (Never felt so good to be bad)

Do you think we're going to see a price drop on the original 1/72's since we're now getting the 1/60's? I'm wondering if there's going to be a big rush to unload these apparently far inferior toys, because maybe I should unload mine now.

There's some sellers on ebay based in HK that sell them for a great price and since it's only decals shipping cost is low. Just search Gundam decals. That's what I did anyhow.

Well, I'm almost done with Yamato at this point. I'm getting this, just like I ended up with the OS and OA, and I'll buy a VF-11b and YF-21 in this scale but that's it. Too expensive and not enough variety. Really, how much more can they make? Currently I have a small squad of 1/48's (the VF-1J super stealth, the VF-1S Roy, the VF-1S Hikaru, the VF-1A Hikaru, the VF-1A Max and the VF-1A CF) and a couple 1/60's, and the macross plus 1/72's in edition to the above mentioned 1/60 M Zero. This fast pack pisses me off. It's just a cheap gimmick. Nothing more. Yamato continues to jack up prices on slick engineered yet quality plagued stuff. I wish Bandai would throw their hat back in the Macross game, because they would bury Yamato in design and quality. I guarantee if they built a PG model kit of the YF-19 or any valk for that matter, Yamato's crap would be collecting dust on the shelves.

I love Gundam, and all things Gundam, except for G gundam which I disliked, but I wasn't big on Dragonball Z type stuff either. I noticed while most people are a little closed minded and only like UC I'm a little more accepting of Gundam. I like them all to an extent, but here's how I rank them: 1. Gundam Wing (Yeah, you can boo, I don't care, the mech designs were the most inspired to date, and a decent story to boot) 2. 08th team (My favorite UC series) 3. Gundam Seed (Yeah, it could've been better, but I personally really liked it) 4. The rest of the UC universe (I'm a lazy typist) 5. Seed Destiny 6. G Gundam 7. SD Gundam ( I like it from a satirical standpoint, but that's about it)

Oh god i remember all of these...ewwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!! I also remember Centurions, Captain Power, Captain Planet, Silverhawks, Sectaurs, oh god it goes on and on. So many of those memories are gone now, save for a few boxes at mom's house. At least they brought back Madballs...

I'm working on scale buildings actually made out of Drywall and plaster. It's easy to cut, and if you choose battle damaged buildings you can crack and chip at it to get incredible results. Only problem is your designs have to be a little more simplistic.It worked well on my city diorama I'm doing but I've also used it for the streets. Just cut strips and paint! I even was able to cut and chip Gundam footprints into it.

Getter...by far. Not that I'm all that into the super robots, I just own the revoltech figs and love them.

Never big on fix figs. I own a few and I don't like them. Only one I haven't sold yet is deep striker, and that maybe leaving soon as well. Never opened it, bought it on impulse. Anyhow, the only Gundam figs that have got my attention and I'm prous to own, other than models are the big 12 inch DX's, and the arch enemy line.

Hey I need some advice on something. I've been going through and getting all the HG 1/100 Endless Waltz kits, since I know I'll never get MG treatments except for the overrated wing zero. Here's my question though: I want to paint the details on my heavyarms custom, mainly the greenish trim on his shoulder's and chest. Can anyone recommend a color and paint that's close to that? I really don't want to use the decals...

I've been playing Gears for all weekend. Gotta say, it's nice to finally have a game that justifies having a 360. After so many so-so games like Condemned this makes it worth it! However, while I'm really looking forward to Halo 3 like everyone else, the game I want the most is the new Gundam game, the one based on the 08th team. I've been waiting forever for an 08th team game! That, for me, will really test the capabilities of the box. Have you seen the trailers for that?! OMFG!!!!!!!
