I was truly disappointed!  Although armors were prototypes, they were quite impressive to see in hand.  The armor added quite a bit of mass and weight to the Valk to give it a very imposing look.

Funny story, when FEXT contacted me to ask if I would like to photograph the prototypes and that they would ship them to me, I agreed.  I thought it was only the armor prototypes they were shipping but when I opened the box the armors were attached to 2 Yamato Valks.  I messaged my friend at FEXT and he told me the Valks were from his personal collection. :shok:

Very much a bummer, I did what I could to help get to the PO quota, I PO 6 of each version.

Thank you for the compliment @Bolt much appreciated!

    :shok:!

Whoa he let you keep the valkyries from his personal collection?

Ha ha, that would have been quiet the payment for handling the promotional material/pics.

They probably don't want to compete with themselves by releasing multiple lines of the same toy.

That wouldn't surprise me, especially if the DX line cannibalized the HMR releases more than Bandai may have anticipated.

Still sad that FEXT was not able to get the funding for 1/60 OWL Armors. :( In one of my chats with FEXT after the FEXT 1/60 OWL Armor didn't hit the quota, I asked them if they would consider upscaling the armor for 1/48 scale since the DX Chogokin VF-1 was announced.  They said they would look into it for future.  I think I would costs would be too high. :(

    *snip*

That really is too bad, those armor sets look great. The DX Chogokins would look very imposing armored up with the OWL Armors.

    And that's a kick-ass shot @Saburo

  4. Sold off most of my HMR collection a few years ago, thinking about picking up one or two pieces to add to the desk while I'm still working from home.

I’ve been having the same problem coming to terms with that phenomenon being referred to as the blip rather than the snap. I still find myself saying the snap and have yet to call it the blip. I guess I’ll have to learn kinda like with the whole Grogu and baby Yoda thing, but it’s gonna take some time

Always thought in universe Thanos wiping out 1/2 the universe was the "snap", and the return was the "blip". If not, that's my head-cannon.

Ok, I said before that Godzilla, a hard shelled reptilian with atomic breathe should be able to torch a fleshy mammal covered in flammable fur but since King Kong is going to be wielding Mjolnir, that changes everything.

Just spit out my water reading this

  7. @Saburo pics and posts FOR THE WIN! Always makes me want to admire my collection or look for new items to buy.

Willing to bet no one here has helped sell more toys than the Super Dimensional Enabler. I might even buy Matchbox cars if he posted pics of them

Like so many I never went to see this in theaters. Saw it years later and it's one of my top 15 favorites,

Same, I actually saw it during my freshman year of college. The university was able to show new movies via the campus TV network. But I've supported it since then by buying it on DVD and then again on Blu Ray.
