Prof. X, Storm, Magneto, and Mystique became The Four Horsemen of Apocalypse. When the X-Men freed them of the mind control, Xavier glimpsed into the future and saw many changes. First, Magneto appeared to have reformed and joined the X-Men. Secondly, Jean Grey went crazy and became Dark Pheonix. Next, The Brotherhood became agents of Shield. And, an army of Sentinels filled the sky. Finally, we see the adult future X-Men with Cyclops, Storm, Rogue, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, Iceman, and Magma. Both Marvel and Kids WB haven't announced a fifth season yet but after seeing that a fifth season is a must.

New Robotech comic
terry the lone wolf replied to Isamu Atreides 86's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I think Tommy Yune is trying to add cohesion to Robotech by adding Macross characters in a NG flashback story. Yes, they are treating SC like a forbidden topic but you just can't omit it because it was the least popular part. -
New Robotech comic
terry the lone wolf replied to Isamu Atreides 86's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Update: The flashback tale will feature Karl Riber, Lisa Hayes, and Dr. Lang during the construction of Mars Base One. I have a question.. Who attacked and destroyed Mars Base? Was it the Zentradie or was it the Anti-U.N.? -
You're totally right. BG needs to go back to basics with this one. A serious SF drama with romantic overtones. Not a J-Pop fiasco. <_<

TomWelling.org has posted exclusive clips of Tom Welling and Kristen Kruek skinny dipping. They're from this Wednesday's show "Slumber". I was dissapointed I couldn't get a clear shot at Kristen, except fo her legs, but the ladies might like to see Tom. Check them out: smallville

New Robotech comic
terry the lone wolf replied to Isamu Atreides 86's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I heard that the comic series is linked with both the game and the new anime show. Also, didn't Yoshitaka Amano help create Mospeada. For HG and Wildstorm to get him to do the covers doesn't count for something? -
In Robotech, their names are Mark Landry and his girlfriend Becky(sorry, I don't know her last name.). In Megazone 23, it's Shogo and Yui. Carl Macek intended Mark to be a "cousin"(?) of Rick's. Maybe because he looked so much like him. Also, the same animators who worked on Macross did Megazone 23. Hal Mikomoto, the character designer of Macross, also did the character designs. To me, Yui and Eve always seemed more close to Lynn Minmay but not to Misa.

In the Robotech dub, her name is Stacy Embry. The man is her father Minister of Defence Daryl Embry. Go to the link I posted above read the review of the movie.

Macek could've used the scene for both the Robotech Movie and the Megazone 23 prt. 2 dub. I think either HG or Streamline did release Megazone 23 without any reference to Robotech. Also, Robotech the Movie was shelved and was hardly seen by anyone. He could've utilized the footage from the movie and added them on the part 2 dub. A few years ago I saw the comic adaption of the Robotech movie; the last panel ended the same way as the picture above. Remember, Carl Macek is the "King of Edits".

I think it's the end of Robotech the Movie aka "The Unknown Story". Cannon, the company who distributed the film, didn't like parts of the movie. So Southern Cross animation was added with the existing Megazone 23 footage to make it more battle friendly. It changed the feel of the movie; HG commisioned Artmic, who did the original Megazone 23 anime, to animate a brand new ending. Megazone 23 didn't end that way. Where did you get it? I've been looking for anything about Robotech the Movie for years. Here's a link to give you a review of the movie:robotechmovie

for all you Branon&Braga hating Trek fans!
terry the lone wolf replied to ZorClone's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Err.. Roddenberry "gave up" Star Trek due to unavoidable circumstances (ie, passing away). Unless of course you're suggesting the same fate for B&B. -Al Wait, I think Cag meant when the show was cancelled in 1967. -
new catwoman halle pix
terry the lone wolf replied to terry the lone wolf's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I love the X-Men but we all know it's really all about Wolverine. He's the only character that will get a spin-off movie. Halle hasn't really done all the cool things Storm has done in the comics. -

Tekkaman Blade 90s remake...
terry the lone wolf replied to Akilae's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I would recommend getting the HK set. Not only do you get the show unedited but you get cool extras. You'll be able to view three OVA specials that fill in blanks in the story. First is Twin Blood; it's a short retelling of the first D-Boy/Shinya battle. Next is Burning Clock; it reveals a tragic chapter in the Aiba family history. Finally Missing Ling; this happens in the ten year span between Tekkaman Blade 1 & 2. It also reveals how Aki became a Tekkaman and the events of Black September. Listen if you're not familar with the original story and only know about the Saban hack job, read this: Tekkaman Blade/D-Boy= Slade/Blade or Ness/Nick Tekkaman Evil/Sabre= Shinya/Kain Tekkaman Aki= Star ( Yes that's Star in Tekkaman Blade 2; she becomes the new Red Tekkaman in Missing Ling.) Aiba family= Carter family Black September- when rogue Tekkamen took over Prague/Paloof due to promblems with the military. The military dropped a atomic bomb because of fear of these emancipated Tekkamen. -
Transformers G1 PS2 game
terry the lone wolf replied to terry the lone wolf's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Thanks Whiskey, I love that Primesaber page. All I know about the Japanese Transformers is because of that site. Update: Headmasters, both Autobot and Decepticon, will be included in the game. -
In DC/Widstorm Robotech#0, there's a pilot that resembles Jack leading a squardron of Veritechs against malcontent Zentradie in the Badlands. His group fell into a trap and was saved by Rick in a prototype Veritech. However, HG has been ambigous on the subject.

Battlestar Galactica DVD set... any takers?
terry the lone wolf replied to Warmaker's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Glen Larson was involved with that stinker but I'm not upset. He made up for it with Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century. As for the dvds and the remake, I can't wait a secton for either. -

Update: Principal photography will be wrapping up in Tampa. Marvel/Artisan are looking at April 16 as their release date. Oh, for all the Canadian members, Marvel Comics will be lowering the prices for their comics. I have new pic of Thomas Jane. C'mon this is the Punisher!!! -
Robotech 3000/2004 piece of crap!
terry the lone wolf replied to 91WhiskeyM6's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Has it, did they do decent job of it?, where can I get it. Thanks LA Hero dubbed it first and Manga Entertainment has rights to it now. The voices are "interesting" but I still enjoyed it. -
Toynami will release the replica YF-1R this winter. I know it's a Anime Friend mistake but it's grey color scheme is how a military Valkyrie should look. Check it out:YF-1R
