Thanks for checking Andy!

You might be able to find an old Arii 1/100 VF-1.
I'm actually building an old Arii 1/100 VF-1A and VF-1D.
No pilots in those kits. The Bandai variable 1/100 came with a pilot, but I didn't plan that far ahead and the pilot is sitting in the cockpit of my avatar.
Thanks though. I have a PM from Valkyrie and he mentioned the pilots in the 1/100 Supersylph. Happy days.

I have a stack of 1/100 figures made for model railways, and may end up having to modify a few of those guys into pilot figures.... buuuuut here's hoping for an off-the-shelf solution
-
I've googled a bit and crawled through HLJ but nothing seen so far. Does anyone know where I could find 1/100 pilot figures without having to buy a whole kit?
I was hoping for something like the Hasegawa/Italeri aircrew sets but found nothing in 1/100.
Any pointers would be great please! But no, I'm not patient enough to order particular sprues from Bandai or anything like that.
Thanks guys

When items are listed as "out of stock" on the SSM site it means they are expecting more of them. When they're just gone that means they won't be getting any more.
Bummer. Cheers.

Noted. Thanks!
It's strange they aren't even listed as "Out of Stock", they are just gone.

In post #14:
Those pictures are very cool; the top one looks like a 'green screen' backdrop for a VF-4 mockup in a film studio The original filming of Flashback 2012!

Do you guys know what happened to the Moscato Regult's SSM was offering a few weeks ago? Suddenly they're not in the store anymore...!?

Five days on and I still haven't heard from JEXPRIME...
I don't know this JEXPRIME user, but his profile says he hasn't been active on MW since 07 November, hence no reply to posts/PMs. Sorry to hear about your bad experience.

Jason may I suggest you put on a pot of coffee, and head over to http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/TNT.htm
There is some great content there. Highly recommended!

Here's a Defender...
HEAVILY modded VF-1S Super... (You can see a bunch of other Nichimos in the background...
Spartan with missile doors opened up by me
Please note that these paint-schemes are ANCIENT and really really bad, but they do prove that I once finished some of these...
Just to prove I'm not still as bad as I was back then, here's my last two completed models...
That Tiger of yours looks the business! What a great job! Are the damaged skirts made of thin brass plate?

Dude download google toolbar or foxlingo or something. It'll translate enough that you get the general idea.

SSM has CAs masters for the 1/72 Hase battroid conversion.

Another very good panel line DIY: http://www.scalespot.com/reference/panellines/panellines.htm

SSM is also offering 1/72 Regults!

Picked up my VF-4 today
Subscribed! Looking forward to the WIP

Your work is brilliant! The masking looks very clean and I love the matt finish. The exhaust might look sharper with an alclad/metaliser gunmetal or exhaust colour, and wow! so many decals!
Great work, thank you for sharing the pics.

Grayson72 and Valkyrie,
Yes, I'd love to see what you have. Could you attach the excel sheets to a post here in this thread? If you'd rather email them to me you can use carlDOTnDOThoff@gmailDOTcom. Just replace the capital leters what what they imply.
Thanks,
Carl
Carl I've always wondered why people post email addresses like you have. Is it because of spambots surfing the net for address@email.com and suddenly you're spammed or is it something else?

With so many interest, I will say it is a green light for this project!<br /><br />I have spoken with my recaster to make room for this kit in his busy schedule. The modifications should be fairly easy and straight forward and we are looking to have the kits ready to be shipped out by mid September. Price wise the kit will go for $75 shipped!<br /><br />I will make a new thread and contact those who showed interest here in this thread once things are in place!<br />
Kickass
Thanks for the pics

It also works well if you spray an aluminium or rust pattern before you add the salt. Then, when you remove the salt, you see the 'bare metal' or corrosion.

Interested for one please.

Do you have an item number please? I browsed HLJ but only found 1/35 armour accessories.
Thanks!
