  1. In the YF-24.

They haven't. The VF-25 and VF-27 are the only ones that use it in production. However, current versions of ISC relies on fold quartz and fold quartz can only be, currently as of 2059, be produced and refined by Vajra, so widespread deployment has yet to appear.

Thanks again both of you. ^_^

So then it's all still realitvity new. And since were freinds with the Vajra now, and it also appears they left the galaxy after MF. Is it safe to say that widespread deployment has been nixed?

  2. Combination of manual controls, BDI, and AI. It's simply a powered armor that suppose to help the pilot survive a little longer than if he/she were in an escape pod or in a chair. It has a battery and chemical rockets so it will work fine in space.

No. You're thinking of ISC. And the YF-21's inertia vector control system proved to be too costly and not very efficient which is why they built ISC.

The system that's supposedly responsible for reducing the bulk of the g-force burden on the pilot and the airframe is the Inertia Store Converter, which apparently siphons off excess inertia beyond what the pilot and airframe can stand and converts it into "dimension distortion field energy" before slowly returning it to the plane at manageable (and survivable) levels. It's apparently the more capable cousin of the inertia vector control system used on the Q-Rau and YF-21/VF-22.

EX-Gear alone probably wouldn't have done anything for Guld...

Ah thanks for the answers azrael and Seto. So the ISC is what protects pilots from the g forces. When did they start incorporating this into Valkyries? And what the heck is "dimension distortion field energy"? And is it known of how many g's a ISC can handle?

  3. Do you have DYRL? on the Saturn or the PS? I bought a Saturn and a 4 in 1 Mega-replay-something-or-the-other just so I could play DYRL?. It wasn't a great shooter by any means, but it was a great experience nonetheless...

I have the PS version. I bought it at a local mom and pop shop, even came with a the strategy (for the staurn version though  ). I loved it. Not the greatest shooter like you said, but it was still a blast to play! :)

  4. Lol, my PS1, DC and N64 are actually out in full view in my living room. Every once in a while I get the urge to play Macross VFX 1, Air Force Delta and Automobili Lamborghini on those systems, in that order...

Funny you mention that, latly I'v had a hankering to play Jet Set Radio, and Macross DYRL....But ::sigh:: so much I need to move to connect it. <_<

  5. That's going a little too far, I think. It's their website, and they can run it however they see fit. If people don't like it, they're free to leave. I may think it's a poor way to run the site, but it's not totalitarianism. :)

I did say "sorta". :p But, yeah your right. I guess I'm just spoiled with all the freedom I have here. B))

  6. It's important to differentiate HG from Team Yune: Tommy, Steve and Kevin. The day to day stuff on rt.com is pretty much left up to those three. The other parts of HG are concerned with more important things. There's a conscious effort on the part of Team Yune to suppress dissent and censor any critical opinion or to mock them and publicly "correct" them, which Kevin likes to do.

Wow....Is it me or does that sound sorta like totalitarianism.

  7. I think we're getting a couple of things mixed up here. The new trailer show's a full Meltradni Klan Klan without fast pack's melee-ing a Q-Rea. Ultimate Frontier had FP Klan Klan, and mecha pilot Chibi-Klan, but no giant Klan without fast pack. It should also be noted that the new Klan Klan & Ex-Gear pilots seem to have much smoother animated movements than the mecha do. The only question is whether or not the Klan Klan shown can be equipped with & shed her Fast Pack.

Also, I can't wait to see FP Klan Klan in the PS3 game, that will infinately rock!

As long as Full Meltradi Klan Klan is in, am good.

  8. Yeah I hear ya. Unless you're a collector you don't want to have to sit on an old bulky system that may not even be hooked up...

It's nice and safe, just not easy to get to and play in my room, same goes for my GC,PSone,DC,and N64.

if it's important to you, you make the space in your life for it...

It is important to me. It does have a space in my room, unfortunitly it's not a space near my tv where I can easily connect it. :o

  9. just wondering what other MWers have pets.

    for my part, i have a pair of female Guinea Pigs;

My grandfather used to raise and sell guinea pigs.He also used to eat them. I have a dachshund that is spoiled rotten, and up to recently my deceased cat of 16 years. :(

  10. Yup... according to Jasonc, the image(s) that MEMO is making such a fuss over were originally "leaked" by him in the first place:

I just dont see why those images are such a big deal. They look like something anyone with paint shop skills can make. Seriously, what the big deal about them? <_<

  11. SV-51 is a result of Anti-UN spies travelling to the future and stealing the VF-27 blueprints. They brought them back and the engineers of the time reproduced it to the best of their abilities using current-day technology.

And yet they still lost the war. :p

I voted YF-21. Great looking design, advance tech for the time, morphing wings, combination of human and zentron tech/design, detachable arms and legs, BDI system. What more could I want (other then a it being EX-gears compatible? )
