I've already got Matrix, Reloaded and Animatrix on DVD. Still considering whether or not to buy Revolutions when it is released. I don't think releasing the Matrix on me will make me love Transformers. Weird guy Graham I most certainly am and hope that will never change

Yes the animation is amazing, the story is good but nothing that is going to knock anyones socks off. The Vanship racer scene puts the Ep1 pod race to shame, not like thats hard to do though I loved what I saw. The animation alone is enough to keep my interested. I was bad, and downloaded the next ten episodes as well. I REALLY liked what I saw. For shame! Oh wait, I DLed the whole series cept for 23

Seeing that some people are mentioning some animation that is not japanese I must mention Exo-squad, only good non japanese mecha show. Hell unless you count Transformers as mecha, I think its was the only US mecha show

Dude! For a second I thought I was the only person in the world that liked Robot Carnival! No way, it's great!!! Obviously, some of the shorts are better than others... Katsuhiro Otomo's intro and outro is hilarious, as is A Tale of Two Robots ("The sun is setting, dimwit."). Cloud is a little too boring and artsy for me. But the others are all pretty cool, and the last one is just soooo whacked out!!! What's great about it is that you can throw it on in the background when guests are over (or at a party) and people will check it out if they want to, but don't have to put a lot of commitment into it because they are shorts. Until seeing it in your list I had almost completely forgotten about it. Is it out on DVD? It was one of the 1st animes I had ever seen.

Agreed, perhaps 300 to 500 for the whole set as long as it was high quality, but not over 3000 dollars!

I have seen the whole series cept ep 23. I thought it was pretty well done. The visual styling was awsome, the action was decent (could have been more though IMHO), and the story was pasable though nothing really ground breaking.

I don't watch as much anime as most here but here are a few of my favorites in no particular order. Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust (Action, Drama, romance) Metropolis (A love or hate it movie, personally I loved it) Trigun (Comedy, Drama, Great story and characters.) Kenshin OVA Love & Betrayal (Beutiful and sad) Serial Experiment Lain (The X-files of anime) Jin-Roh (Dark, depressing, thought provoking) Wolf Rain (well done, but a sad story) Patlabor 1-2 and the TV series Tenchi Muyo OVA (Just alot of fun!) Macross Plus and Macross Zero Ghost in the Shell movie and TV series Yeah I know, thats 11, so sue me.

Ditto. Man, the fun I had with that thing... Flying it through the air, spinning in circles, taking the armor off, putting the amror on, landing it on the table... Darn it! Now I miss it. I found what was left of that old JM the other day. The poor guy had no legs, one booster, and one arm left. I was a bad, bad child... Gasp!!!! If I saw that it would have made me cry.

The 1st valkyrie toy I ever owned was actually a green Joons bootleg. After that I snagged a Bandai fire valk. Then yamato entered the valkyrie market and well, it was all down hill from there.

I've got one of 'em and I think it's very cool. Actually a green Joons was my 1st valk, so It hold a special place in my heart

That guy is awesome, how much do those usually go on eBay? Yellow, they go for dirt cheap last I looked.
