    Amazon's been cancelling collectibles on me this year. Dynaction Evangelion earlier and then a Dorohedoro figure from Threezero this week. And I'm still waiting on a banpresto for one of my son's Xmas presents. I went with BBTS and suggest y'all do too.

    Well that sucks. But looks like it could be fixed with some super glue or epoxy? (Is that hole in the neck piece for a pin or air/gap from the mold?) I have had to get replacement/missing pieces several times with ShowZ. They're very response, click on the 'After Sales' item in the main menu. But their ability to help you out is completely reliant on the manufacturer. They'll normally post a note on the product page if think anticipate any issues...like if a company is shutting down. Even with the KO (Knock Off)/4th Party items, they've been able to take care of me. Sometimes they can send you something within a couple days, other times it takes several months. That guy has been sold out for awhile now, right? So fingers crossed they can help you out sooner than later. (I'm expecting a re-issue if it hasn't happened already but you may need to wait on that.) Chinese New Year holiday is coming up in less than two weeks and pretty much everything shuts down over there. I suggest you fill out that form like...now.

    Dagnabit! I bought one for about the same from AmazonJP over a week ago and it showed up the next day. (Not sure if they expedited it to deliver with my MP Arcee or if DHL was just in turbo mode.) I guess that's an early tax. But unless Premium Bandai USA starts selling it, I won't feel ripped off as resellers/proxies are still going to have to charge some extra fees if I were to source it from P-Bandai JP.

    I didn't realize it was so big: I unfortunately cancelled my (discounted) preorder at ShowZ. There's too much (Mando Hot Toys) coming down the pipe in the next few months and I'm way past being out of room to display things. Maybe I'll pick it up in the 2nd or 3rd release, it looks amazing.

    I got my notification to pay last week from showZ and I couldn't pull the trigger. He looks awesome but I don't know where he'd fit into my collection...and it's a couple hundred bucks that I think I may put towards Sinanju before he disappears. (Supposedly he's tied to Wei Jiang who was raided.) That, and I think a ridiculous amount of my other pre-orders are going to start popping in the next month or two.

    I got a notification in my preorders that it's ready to be paid but no email from them. I don't want to pay in full if it's not going to ship for another couple months and then take a month to arrive so I'm waiting to see what happens. On a related note, I noticed this notification 2 days ago and had 2 other notifications show up at the same time. One was for the ToyWorld BB Optimus Prime, I paid that in full and now it is showing up as 'In Stock' but no shipping notice yet. But I think this means Tetra is definitely incoming. (Especially for those of you who paid already.)

    They updated the full price this morning. That's a pricey meatball...and sold out. It looks mightly cool though. * Pricey for ShowZ comps, but obviously not 1st party releases.

    They cancelled my Amatsu and Zaku, which were $2 and $8 deposit. I have a couple more on preorder. I'm waiting to see if they cancel anything else and then I guess I have to contact them for the deposit...which they'll probably transfer to credit, which I'm fine with.

    I've always heard that the copyright laws in China are pretty lax. So as long as it's an "original" design or interpretation and you don't call it by it's legal name, you can produce just about whatever you want. Metal Club was/is making straight copies/KOs with very slight design changes. Plus all the pictures of the raids showed shelves full of gundam kit KOs, not even the metal builds. (Not sure what company they sell those kits under.) I've also heard that Bandai is one of the only companies that constantly go after 3rd parties such as Daban/MoShow since they have some local representation. (Compared to LEGO for example, they have had a much harder time getting factories SWATted.) How close are the White and Gold Dragons to the source material? They're pretty stylized aren't they?

    Did you get an incoming notice for Yellow Dragon or are you trying to stay ahead of the curve? I agree, it's worth it to pay for the shipping. Otherwise you're going to be paying ebay mark-ups (and there's always the rogue seller suspicions floating around my head until the item shows up on my doorstep) or US webshop mark-ups...if they stock them. I bought a few items that were located in the US with the ebay markup this week because I know they're going to be hard to get going forward. We've, or at least I, have been spoiled over the last couple years with cheap goods straight from China. Things are changing and that's just the way it's going to be for a bit.

    You can cancel right now on their site and it'll convert to credit. If you contact them I would guess they'd refund the deposit as it's only $1-$5, but I'm not sure. I've contacted them about accidental double orders before and asked for refunds on items I didn't want before they updated the site...but I was always fine with converting to credit so I don't know if I went for standard refund. Most of these companies get raided and then pop back up 6 months later. Gundam offenders seem to take much longer to come back though. We don't need finger pointing as we all know I'm talking about you Mo Show. Supposedly they destroyed all the Strike moulds so I've given up on a re-release from them. It does suck because MG/MC made bad ass robots...but I also realize they're someone's robots in the first place. I think I have all their items preordered at ShowZ except for 1.

    TFW2005 has a ShowZ thread where an employee of ShowZ posts multiple times daily if you're interested in more details on the shipping situation. https://www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/show-z-store.1148773/page-275 Anything over 2 kg is not going anywhere anytime soon. They can use DHL and you'll get your package in a few days but expect to pay $30 or so. They mentioned they're updating their cancellation functionality on the site and within 5 days you should be able to cancel whatever you want and i *think* get points back for your deposits. (Historically if you wanted a refund/points for your $1 deposits you had to request it. Their policy is you can get a refund anytime before the full price is revealed...but I've never had issues getting a refund when I've requested.)

    It's a beautiful figure just the like the previous two. But I personally can't justify getting it because I don't even know how I'd display in a collection. A question for those of you in the know, is there a reason for this to exist? Is there a night-mode in the new movies?

Refreshed the original and it now also has a button. So they either activated the button on the page or have some sort of mailing list activation...which I don't but is feasible. Third option, my first request failed somehow...but I've clicked on all of these links 5+ times each because this rollout is silly.)

    Besides the (re-)paint, the only difference is the inclusion of the lance, correct? FOMO can hit hard with Metal Builds and Evangelion separately...and it's almost impossible to resist if you combine the two. But unless all the future releases start using this paint scheme as the standard, I definitely don't need variants when there's so many incredible alternatives on the release schedule.     You can use other detergents/anti-greaser/cleaners if you don't have any ISO...uncle jessy has a video with his limited tests. I used mean green for my first 10 or so prints, but the smell definitely lingers much longer than ISO.
