Interesting.. I just found out that the pic that @seti88posted with the arm and the Strike VF-1S Hikaru is actually the Trident Stand with the adjustable arm and the gantry way(?) for the pilots to enter their valks after looking at it carefully. I wonder if that Bandai decided not to make the set (stand, arm and gantry way) given that it will not be a cost efficient way of doing it at a massed produced quantity?

@sh9000: You managed to get a copy of the HMR VF-1J with the GBP at last! @Shizuka the Cat: That would be Agent Smith from "The Matrix Trilogy" played by Hugo Weaving (Ninjaed by @505thAirborne before my post). He also did Elrond in the "Lord of the Rings" and in "The Hobbit" Trilogies plus other movies. @Sildanihas a avatar of him as Elrond with the sunglasses. This just came in yesterday afternoon via Amazon. Don't have to drive around the town around to look for this anymore and also pay close to $100 CND (before taxes) for this..

I know its Golden Week in Japan so all of the Japanese sellers are on a break now. If anyone missed out in the pre-order of a 31a and didn't use NY, the ebay listing might be of use. Sounds reasonable?

Looking at the listing prices as of now (2018/04/28 12:02 AM P.S.T) for the 31a. Three separate listings on Fromjapan: $60k -$80K Yen. You guessed right.. I wasn't in the YF-19 madness as I have acquired Mirage's 31c from Amiami (pre-owned) and another Macross related item somewhere else, so the wallet needs a breather. I'm in for the YF-21 though.

That is correct! I believe that that this one with Max (and the green coloured one?) was in one of the scenes in DYRL. It's been a awhile since I saw DYRL (bootlegged version) on DVD. -
I don't expect Hi-Metal stuff to be loaded with metallic joints anyways unlike the huge large scale DX Chogokins [EG: Manzinger, Hulkbuster MK. 44 (is the new one the MK. 47/48?), Go Lion, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, and the upcoming Dragon Caesar, etc..]. * Just a thought: If the YF-19/21 does get the full blown DX Chogokin treatment, then I can guess the price will be in the range of Arcadia's PE SDF-1 I take it? Ouch! That's almost 2 brand new 1/6 figures paid for..

Thanks for the clearer pics Noel.. I'm looking at the shoulder, arm, hips, and the knees (as per all the HM and HMR releases) for the metal joints. Wishful thinking here: Maybe the ankle/foot pivot as well?

I'll try to de-clutter my convoluted thoughts here.. Based on @no3Ljm's post, it looks like the GN-U mold of the YF-21 is used to me (didn't see the valk mode on the side). If this was a proto type/custom of a future release of YF-21 in either HM (or HMR format), I am thinking that there should be a slight hint of a metal joint hinge shown in between the connecting joints (as per the HM and the HMR releases). Like you mentioned, this is most likely a custom/very early prototype sample (and thanks to Noel's post as well).. Looks like that the possibly of a HMR YF-19/YF-21 in a few years might be a reasonable wait??

If so, then the metal joints would be well hidden and not be easily seen. As per my interpretation of the pic above, the dark shading in between the joints looks like where the two parts attach with out any metal attachments (or am I seeing things)..

A quick question for those who have Messier's/Hayate's Supers and didn't per-order during the initial stages: Has there been a problem for any of you to acquire the Supers after release day? Will Mirages' Supers be possibly a shelf warmer given that Messier, Hayate (and now Arad) are the most commonly ones that are sought after? I know that there wasn't much of a character development for Mirage even though she was a grand daughter of the famous M&M dual.

Hmm.. Looking at @no3Ljm's post, isn't that Yamato's GN-U Dou's version of the YF-21 (as it looks like it to my eyes)? Missed the chance to get the GN-U version with Fast Pack sold as a set on Manda awhille back. I wonder what molding differences will be made if the YF-19/YF-21 gets made into the HMR format.

I've been poking around Manda, Amiami, Jungle, NY and Fromjapan auctions once on a blue moon and seen the prices for Messer's Supers. Hopefully that I can get Mirage's at a reasonable price (without loosing a limb or two). -
That's not too bad for the 31J Kai.. That's average price that I've seen (give or take) on the various websites that has for sale.

I was actually considering to get Arad's 31s with the Armoured parts as the design as it reminds me of the Stampede Valk SPD-1 (a design that I do like) plus it looks better than Osma's 25s Armoured (to me, that is one hell of a complete mess). After seeing multiple reviews of the 31c and wanted to get a copy; however I missed the boat in acquiring one after seeing the listings online being snapped up like mad (the prices for the 31c was out of my budget range). Decided to get a 31s afterwards (with the Amoured parts when released) as secondary choice. It just so happens that I managed to see a listing of the 31c within my budget range when I was looking around in regards to Macross items and snagged it.

Arad's 31s is out in July, the HMR Super O is out the following month. Next month is Mirage's Supers, while the HMR VF-1A and the 31J Kai (lottery version)just got released.. Seems like towards the month end, the Macross goods gets released. Hahaha.. That's my tag line! Speaking of Star Trek stuff, @Lolicon: A grail acquired off your "wanted" list. I ordered another valk from Amiami roughly two hours ago: Pre-owned VF-31C Mirage at 17,280 Yen (Item B, Box B). Opted for slow shipping (registered) and now waiting for the payment notification. With Golden Week around the corner, I don't mind waiting till the end of next month to get it. Now the hunt for the Fast Packs once it get released. Edit: Add pic to write up

Since that focus is now waiting to get the remaining 31a units to those who are still waiting for it, there's a quick question and I apologize if this has been done before. Has anyone put on Messer's Super Parts on the YF-30? Note: I haven't looked back in this thread nor in the YF-30 (if it has been made). Edit: I'm I thinking too far ahead in all in this aspect?

Hmm.. Are you doing tutorials to students that need help? There's a bit a funds to help you out and knock off some of your mortgage payments off and don't forget to sell off your unwanted clothes, jewellery etc.. right? -

Are you spending without having extra funds available to pay off your debt?? I hope not this time.. I actually have a list of possible valks that I want get however I might pass on a fair bit of them as I'm being really picky and selective this time.. -
Feeling like a zombie (literally speaking) right now after pulling an all nighter after work and cramming to finish off my take home exam due before I start work again at 4pm this afternoon.. Taking a break now and catching up in the 31a fiasco.. It just seems like the issue of NY holding up the Kairos orders never wants to end on good terms. Good luck on your DX YF-19 orders if you should continue with NY as your provider..
