  1. Yes, the engine compartments/legs are definitely too bulky, but not too bad as long as you don't place it next to a scale accurate model ;)

  2. My VF-25S in SMS Pixie Squadron livery is finally done. Had some hard times during the building but now that the last matte coat is on I feel quite happy about it. Though  there are some issues with the fitting of the transformable parts. Have to check these after the paint has definitely dried and as I can put some pressure onto the respective parts.

Compared to the VF-31 kits it is great that the legs can be transformed to Gerwalk mode without changing of parts. Of course it would be cool if they also did this to the arms. But I think this kit is still an improvement over the VF-31s. Now give me the VF25G Version with Supers :D

  3. Concerning the paint job, the last kit I finished (modern version of a Kettenkrad) was a fun and easy build. No issues, only thing was that I ran out of paint (desert yellow) on the final paint run. But it is a cool kit, movable tracks and working suspension. Thinking about adding a kind of desert camouflage scheme.

Painting the markings is a great challenge to take on. Don't give up, it won't be perfect, but it will be something to be proud of.

Fully agreed! I'm currently working on the VFG VF-25 Messiah kit and in the past three days I went through hell due to painting the markings. So far I used tons of masking tape due to several turns of error fixing. Slowly it seems I'll gonna approach the result I can live with. And if I manage not to mess up again with the details I think I still gonna love this birdie.;)

    Guess I'm in the minority.

Then count me in, too. I have only Messer, Mirage with Supers and a Kairos. It‘s the Frontier valks I have even some triple of. Concerning Delta I would only buy another VF-31A when it is available at a decent price. But I don’t think that this will happen ;) Good for my wallet at least!

  6. Damn, hoped it would be only the standard version, but with supers I have to get a hold on this! And when they‘d do a tornado I need even twice. That is so mean, after the first VF-25 I thought to quit on this line. But at least the VF Master File has lots of color versions to offer B))

  7. I see no additional pack at all. It's only the silhouette of the backpack with the Battroid arms/shoulders in front as well as the unfolded engine compartments at the leg section. I assume differences will be the sniper rifle, the head/antennaes and parts of the girl.

Hahahahahahahaha!  Yeah I hope that does the trick. Got it into battroid last night. I’ll put it back into fighter mode when I get home and massage it properly. Lol:

Seems a little massage really does the trick:

CrossAir, that is a nice looking root. Not familiar with the anime but it looks dang cool

Thanks a lot! FYI (unfortunately for me) this one is not from an anime, currently it’s only a line of robot model kits. Would like to see an anime of this as it would boost the lines publicity.

I think the hardest thing for me with this kit was the amount of glue it took.

Hah, I experienced the opposite when starting with Bandai or Kotobukyia kits. Suddenly almost no glue was needed anymore. But I can say you can’t rip off my old Hasegawas anymore, half is plastic and the other half consist of glue ;)

Wasn't able to finish even with the extra hour. Topcoat, canopy framing and weathering is all that remain.

Looks really good so far! Especially as it is my favorite Valk in my favorite configuration I‘m looking forward to see it in the final stage. :good:

Great photography, and fantastic color choices!  :good:

Coloring was a little bit inspired by the pilot suit of Lockon Stratos from GUNDAM 00.

  13. Yes, the wings don‘t stay tight in fighter mode. When re-adjusting the valk during the photo shots I always had to push the left wing back in its place again. Some latch would help here, especially if you want to display it over head.
