Looks like you got two left feet. You can try contacting the seller and seeing if they can get you a set of replacement legs.

More like people need to be aware of what NY is like as a seller before ordering. Expect slow shipping, no matter what shiping method you use. Expect exorbitant jacked up prices if you miss the initial PO. Expect poor customer service. In other words, use NY only if you're desperate or patient.

If you post a picture of the ankles we can tell you pretty quickly.

Creation of a shopping bot for pre-order madness

When things go out of stock within minutes, or even less than a minute, and the website's scripts are unresponsive in general... Well it would lead to a lot more complaining than is currently the case. -

Shameless plug: I put together some CAD models for a VF-31 compatible missile pod (both 1/60 and 1/72 scale versions). -

The Battroid also looks a bit better, since the canopy cover is actually flush. That's the biggest issue with the HMR. -
That's what I did, Tenso for address, and google translate to augment my 3 semesters of college Japanese. But at this point it's mostly google translate doing the lifting (just translate it back to English to double-check the translation, and keep the sentences simple).

Good luck, I will say that the leg replacement was quite easy, though closing the plastic clamshell was quite tight on the knurled pin used in the gerwalk joint.

Just checked at HLJ and it let me check out. Guess sleeping on it worked.- 6025 replies

I managed to get a set of replacement legs from Arcadia directly, however as stated earlier: I communicated with Arcadia in Japanese. I asked them to ship it to the address registered to my Arcadia webstore account, which is a Japanese address.

My copy all looks good, nothing loose or misaligned or misassembled.

Just finished the leg replacements on mine, relatively straightforwards and now it's standing in battroid unassisted, even in a walking pose.

Got mine from Amazon Japan via Tenso. I’d post a picture, but keep getting error -200 on upload.
-
P-Bandai does not allow you to register using a Tenso address, or at least it didn’t for me. Can still put in orders using a proxy like FromJapan or DeJapan for a similar price though.

Really hope mine shows up before I head off on my business trip next Wed.

When I ordered the Metal Build Gernsback they had the same issue, some lines/items just reach the limit faster. Metal Builds in particular are a very low number. I suspect the second set of strike packs they did limit the number per address lower than the first due to how quickly that one sold out.

I'm not talking about if there is an adult fanbase for build fighters or not. I'm pointing out the target audience for the anime and the vast majority of the build fighters model kits skew younger then Gundam in general. Something can be aimed at children and still have adult fans, but if a show is aimed at children then the show's merchandise will similarly be aimed at children.

Bandai is a business, and it's pretty clear from the way they run the metal build and DX chogokin lines that there's a limit to their manufacturing capabilities when it comes to volume. They'll focus on whatever they can be most sure of selling out. It sucks if you're a fan of some of the shows they don't decide are worth pursuing in some of the lines (like how I'm pretty sure we'll never see Full Metal Panic antagonist mechs from Bandai, in either 1/60 models or metal build), but it's not exactly an odd way to run a company.

Probably due to target audience. The Build Fighters/Divers/Etc... kits are almost entirely HG, and aimed primarily at kids, whereas the metal builds are aimed at adult collectors. The target age of the source material is also a bit younger for the former.

AJ hasn't let me down yet, and I have the GoodSmile 1/48 Swordfish II pre-ordered through them currently (because shipping this thing for 1200yen international express rocks).
-
From my personal experience: Nippon Yasan: Don't expect customer service, don't expect fast shipping, they will eventually get you your order through. Hobby Link Japan: Good customer service, ships things out reasonably quickly, a bit more expensive CD Japan: Customer service isn't great, but oftentimes less expensive than HLJ and faster to ship than NY. Hobby Search: Quick shipping, prices similar to CDJ usually, haven't dealt with their customer service. For anything you absolutely must have I'd go with HLJ over all the others, for things you'd like to have go with HS or CDJ, for really expensive things you're not to worried about manufacturer defects on go with NY (as they have the lowest prices). Special mention Amazon Japan: #1 best place to buy pre-orders through, provided they will ship internationally. Prices are similar to HLJ, but the shipping is fast and cheap, and they do have good customer service.
