  1. I have it, but I haven't built it yet. Prime992 on youtube has. It's an unusual combination of the GFFMC version as far as the wings go, and a very customized body since most of it doesn't really match up with the MG or HiRM Wing Zero Custom kits.
  2. I was able to buy a 2nd one for cheap at a con to use with the Striker packs, before the price climbed into the $500s range. The QAN[T} is also a great figure and as good or better than Bandai's release. And the Buster is just fantastic. I was amazed how they were able to produce a 2nd 1/72 figure that one-upped their Strike
  3. Here's a quick run down of what happened to Moshow. Needless to say, the 1/72 Strike got Bandai's attention. https://ggmara.blogspot.com/2018/11/2017.html
  4. Of course, if you get all the packs when they come out, you'll end up spending about $650USD. Now, if you wanted to buy a couple extra F90s, you're looking at close to $800

    Bandai DX VF-31

I was originally interested in it, but now with the absurd price and all the weight support parts are c ok complete turn offs
  6. This looks pretty impressive. https://showzstore.com/pre-order-sentinel-toys-1000toys-riobot-great-mazinger-mazinger-z_p1626.html
  7. Samuel Decals is talking pre-order for the shield sets but his shipping charges are ridiculous
  8. I received my MC Gold Frame today. The gold finish is really nice. Some of the early photos made it look like it was going to be yellow or orange but it came out perfectly.
  9. So MC has decided to undercut Bandai and release their own "Soul Blue" version $150 I'll instead of $500. http://www.gundammodelcenter.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=497 Keep in mind MC also has a Sapphire version and a Pearl coating so they're a bit ahead of the special colors already .
  10. I'm kinda digging the Dragon King Gundam figures. I'm not sure where someone thought up creating Musha Gundam style figures by combining IBO Gundams with characters from Sengoku Basara. The reviews of the Date Masamune Gundam were mostly good except for the loose hip joints, which is unfortunate since they smartly used ratchet joints in several other joints, except for the hips.
  11. Unfortunately the Date Masamune Gundam has loose hip joints in reviews. Which makes no sense since it has ratched knee joints that could have been used in the hips too.
  12. Has anyone bought any of the Metal Soldier Zaku figures? Apparently the review copies has some paint issues, but that was supposed to have been fixed for the retail release. They look pretty good, and they have a clever implementation for mounting the missile launchers using magnets.
  13. The MC Blue Frame's armor is a straight white, while the Bandai original has a slight blue-ish tint to it. You probably would only notice it if you put the two next to each other. Other than that, I'd say they're pretty close in quality. In the case of the flight pack for the Red Frame, I think the MC one is better because it has tighter joints while still feeling like it's made of the same quality plastic. The new MC Gold Frame is the pre-Amatsu-Mina version. The MC Amatsu-Mina is coming at a later date. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000032897462.html
  14. I have both MC Red and Blue Frames. Other than a printing error on the Red Frame, they're both just fine, and as far as their prices go, they can't be beat. For anyone looking to get the MB Red Frame's flight pack, you can just get the MC Red Frame which comes with the flight pack for $100USD, which is cheaper than buying the Bandai flight pack by itself. I don't expect any problems with the Green and Gold Frames.
  15. I've also ended up ordering the MC Gold Frame w/ missile launcher.
  16. I ordered the MC Green Frame from a seller on Aliexpress that I've bought from before. It's not going to be anything particularly special, but it does come with the twin beam saber rifle the Green Frame is known for
  17. You can get the MB Strike thru Amazon Japan for 179usd and they ship internationally https://www.amazon.co.jp/BANDAI-SPIRITS-バンダイ-スピリッツ-ストライクガンダム/dp/B07R458W6B
  18. I received the FunHobby/Metal Heart Metal Build Blue Destiny Unit 02 figure yesterday. The figure is nice and heavy and appears to have a good amount of die-cast content. It comes with a lot of accessories, including an extra GM head. The dual color LED gimmick is nice and is powered by a built in rechargeable battery charged with a USB cable, which should be the norm for MB figures with LED gimmicks IMO. The chipmunk-like voice for the EXAM system is silly, but I realize that's really how it's supposed to sound. So far my only complaints are the shoulder joints are a little loose most likely because they're made of a polycap-like plastic, but can probably be fixed, a couple plastic parts appear to be missing glue so I'll need to glue them, and the beam rifle looks a little small for the figure. For the sub $100 price, it's totally worth it.
  19. Interesting: https://ggmara.blogspot.com/2019/08/blog-post_39.html
  20. I got my MB Astraea + GN Mega Launcher on Friday. No missing parts. I really dig the whole GN condenser shield feeding the canon. My only minor complaint is it should have come with a 2nd standard shield, but there are a couple 3rd parties releasing a shield kit for this soon, and one of them even includes a 2nd canon so you'll be able to reproduce the double canon option shown in the promo photos, without having to sink another $100+ into Bandai's MB accessories
