  1. You mean kinda like the GFFMC Unicorn? Another company is doing their own take on this Dragon King thing. They do look pretty amazing. https://www.gundamkitscollection.com/2019/01/motor-nuclear-reveals-2-new-gundam.html
  2. I'm guessing both the Freedom and Kshatriya are pre-production, especially the Freedom with all the 3d printed parts that were in the kit previewed. The MC Kshatriya has a lot of great mechanical detail that the Steel Legend figure just doesn't have.
  3. Preview/Review of the MC/MuscleBear/Anaheim Factory Kshatriya This is looking better than the Steel Legend figure with a lot more details than the other figure. It may be the one to beat now.
  4. I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Probably next week. It says it's currently in stock
  5. Aliexpress has a couple listings for the MC Metal Build 00 XN Raiser. Not sure why it hasn't hit the usual stores. I may go for it and get one. https://es.aliexpress.com/store/product/CLUB-de-comics-en-stock-Metalgearmodels-metal-construir-MB-Gundam-OO-fondos-XN-piso-XN-sistema/3663063_32955936884.html?spm=a219c.12010108.1000016.1.95e129e3b8EDik&isOrigTitle=true
  6. Gundam Central has a banner saying they'll have it in April.
  7. A few of these rather rare kits went up for sale a few days ago, so I managed to score one. I've been wanting a Blue Frame Third kit since the design was originally revealed
  8. I'm getting tired of this p-bandai nonsense for stuff that should be normal retail releases. Also, the RE1/100 base construction isn't cutting it any more. They're putting out these large kits with weak joints and polycap mounts that aren't holding up, which is aggravating especially when they done various older no-grade designs that are superior to almost all the RE releases that could have easily been used as the basis for the RE kits.
  9. It's the same situation with the Vientiane Toys MB Destiny figure, which was clearly using this as the basis for the design:
  10. If anyone is interested, the MC Strike Freedom "Pearl Colour Version" has appeared on ebay and https://ohmyprimus.com/mc-strikefreedom.html for a much better price than the Bandai "Soul Blue" release.
  11. The MC one looks more show accurate. Steel Legend took some design liberties with their version, which isn't a bad thing, I would hope it has some of the same accessories.
  12. Interesting. I haven't heard of that one, but I just found the box on a search. I've never seen it on ebay like the sapphire one.
  13. If the Steel Legends figure doesn't come with more accessories, the MC version is going to win.
  14. I have a reservation in for it. Looks like it's going to be a solid figure.
  15. They have a Sapphire version that looks pretty cool. The most recent MC run fixed the minor issues people had with the first run too. https://hk.carousell.com/p/metal-gear-mc001-strike-freedom-sapphire-version-藍寶石-突擊-自由-高達-非-metal-build-171318514/
  16. Seems pretty decent. Once I clear an eye infection I have right now, I'll be putting it together.
  17. I just received the Providence 3r inner frame. It's a combination of die-cast and toy level plastic. Haven't put the kit together yet.
  18. Yeah. I've used gundam central several times with paypal and haven't had a problem. Prime92 uses them all the time.
  19. Okay. I went ahead and ordered one of these. It was only $30 so I don't see it has a big deal if it turns out not so good. http://www.gundammodelcenter.com/gundam-central-metal-build/3r--mg-metal-frame-seed-gundam
  20. This post is going to be a bit photo heavy. On the left is the Bandai MB Destiny Heine custom with an Orange color scheme. On the right is the new "MuscleBear" / Metal Club Destiny From what I can tell, outside of paint jobs, both figures look and feel nearly identical. The sculpting of the figures, the metal parts, the heft of each figure, the paint details and markings, I am hard pressed to see any significant difference between the two. The MC figure has much tighter joints than the MB. While the MB doesn't have any flopping joints, I prefer the tighter joints of the MC. Accessories - The weapons and shields of the MC are made of lighter, cheaper feeling plastics, but otherwise nearly identical to the MB's. There's tends to be a little more painted details on the MC's weapons, but that could also just be due to the differences between the standard and custom colors schemes. I haven't set up the wings of light, but they look nice and are a steal they're included with the first run of the figure. One thing to remember, if you want to get the Bandai wings of light, they run over $175 on the secondary market, which is ridiculous. They require a number of mounting parts to connect to the Destiny's wings. I'd say the MC would hold them better since the MB's wings are a little looser. I'd say the MC Destiny is well worth the $120 - 150USD is sells for. Excluding the cheaper materials for the weapons and shields, the figure itself could easily pass for the original Bandai figure.
