  1. I got one of the CM's last week (Stick's), and I like it. But it definitely doesn't feel like a toy. It reminds me A LOT of the transformable 1/12 IMAI model kit but in a toy-ized version (I'd even say they based this toy on that model kit) It IS very fragile, and it appears that it's made just for display purposes (although the plastic coloring contradicts this statement) - note: the """stand""" that it comes with is a piece of sh.... but it looks very nice in the Bandai stands that someone was talking about before (and they're cheap). Let's see how Megahouse's and Beagle's ride armors turn out
  2. After searching and searching, I found the download link to the cell phone tune of "Don't be late", the Macross F song. It's here: https://recochoku.jp/search/Srch?ftgt=mkw&a...p;x=103&y=2 BUT... it's not a direct download link since an e-mail from docomo.ne.jp or ezweb.ne.jp or softbank.ne.jp or d.vodafone.ne.jp is needed hopefully somebody will figure out a way to download this
  3. Couldn't agree more, this is what the 25th anniv YF-19 should've been like!
  4. Hopefully with WonderFestival taking place next week (24th) we'll finally know what Bandai's plans are for Mac F
  5. Hopefully the new issue of HLJ will have mecha pics... maybe even prototypes of the models / toys, since it's the issue for April.
  6. Not because of Harmony Gold... because the February issue of US Newtype will be the last http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-...ase-publication
  7. Is it me or the sound in this new file is way too loud and out of synch?
  8. According to Yamato's latest mail magazine (and Babelfish), the ESTIMATED release date for the 1/60 VF-1 is summer 2008, and as soon as production is ready (or something like that) Yamato will announce the price.
  9. Is there a "Extended Edition" of the TV Special where these were shown? Since the program aired in Dec, I've been wanting to watch it precisely to know if some prototypes were shown... Anyway... I hope the size of the toys (if they're not models) stays in the final product... in the TV Special for Macross 7 a prototype VF-19 was presented and it was bigger (and better) than what was actually produced
  10. you're welcome! here's the version for cell phones, useful when going to stores to pre-order it yamato_vf1s_mob.zip
  11. Yamato's website has been updated with the info of the 1/60 VF-1S, including an ad Here's the ad in DivX: yamato_vf1s.zip edit: sp
  12. Here's the scan from the latest Newtype (both pages edited together)
  13. And speaking of 1/60... does anyone have a size- comparison pic of ALL the 1/60 items released by Yamato?
  14. I think I found the answer, it's at the bottom on one of the scans that Graham uploaded. I cannot translate everything, but there's a mention of a Macross Booth in the 2008 WonderFestival (!). Apparently that's where the 25th Anniversary Macross Museum will be and there's a mention of a Macross F promo. That will be interesting... hopefully the "promo" will include the toys
  15. What's the "Macross Museum"?
  16. WOOOW VF-171 in battroid!!! GREAT!! Thanks for the scans!
  17. Guys, I was trying to download the Don't be late mp3: I found link to a 7 MB file that is NOT available anymore , and I found a 5 MB rar file that has a rip of the track in episode 1.. so, no luck. BUT... I stumbled upon these images / wallpapers. Sorry if I don't give due credit because the name of the person who posted these was in Japanese. Looks like they're official wallpapers from MBS...
  18. There's some news in the official site about the Don't be late song... apparently related to mobile (cell) phones. Anybody care to translate? please?
  19. From ANN: Radio Macross, the talk show dedicated to the Macross anime space opera with transforming robots and pop music, premiered on Japan airwaves this past weekend, and the Onsen website has begun its official streaming of entire episodes online on Tuesday. The radio show is part of the buildup for Macross Frontier, the 25th anniversary series that will air in Japan this April. The show will discusses news about Macross in general and Macross Frontier in particular. Radio Macross joins Onsen's roster of streamed shows, which includes Aria, ToHeart2, Rosario + Vampire, School Days, Mayumi Iizuka, Sky Girls, One Piece, Clannad, and more. The two hosts of Radio Macross are Megumi Nakajima and Kenta Miyake. In Macross Frontier, Nakajima plays the heroine Ranka Lee, a Chinese restaurant waitress who dreams of meeting her pop idol and becoming a singer herself. Miyake plays the secondary character Bobby Margo, a bridge operator aboard the Macross 25 warship. A 27-minute early cut of Macross Frontier's first episode aired on Japanese television late last month to generally positive reviews. And here's the link for the broadcast: http://onsen.ag/meta/macross0108.asx
  20. Hi hi, I used Hurin's subtitles and, after playing a bit with the DVD Lab Pro (2 days, good thing there wasn't much to do @ work) I managed to make them synch in a readable way to the Remastered Version (they're still a bit off by mili-seconds in some parts) I have the files in my computer but I need to know which ones to upload... Hurin, any ideas?
  21. Thanks Hurin! Side note: I tried this with the Remastered version and, as expected, subtitles are out of synch
  22. I think both are very nice, I even got box 2 of the Mac 7 sets DYRL was nicely remastered and the image looks great... but I think that the improvements are not as impressive as in the Mac Plus box. Just the improvements in the Movie Edition makes this set worthwhile.
  23. Indeed I can't seem to find the one that was available in recochoku
