As a complete Noob to Gunsbuster, I was looking to get the Gunbuster DVD(s). I didnt know that it would be available this year. I was going to order from sundevil dvd. (I know thats a bootleg) So will the new dvds be a set including all the episodes or will they be sold speratley say 2 eps per disk? any websites i should go to? i've been visiting the Gunbuster index are there others that folks prefer? Also a very Happy belated Birthday to Noriko.

their uniforms look good, you're right about Hikaru head. I think his hair is falls flat or short. and only 20 of them in world.

ok they're familiar, but the Eva's look more like monsters. ...those teeth. Whats up with Rei , Asuka ,and good grief what happened to Misato? Those versions look like the ugly stick hit 'em over and over again. The uniforms work well enough at least for the pilots. edit: The inside of Nerve Hq reminds me of the Deathstar or an Imperial Cruiser maybe its the colors or desgin of the walls ... something about it.

So i finally watched all 3 "originals" of this new release and I'm happy. Why? cause their the originals. NO special effects, none of that flying robot crap in the background, and monsters/aliens taking away from the tension of a scene. Is it perfect? NO. the quality could have been better Lucas could have had his people digitally remaster this but no, just a "bootleg", excuse me, Transfer from the laser disks. At some point someone close to him will say something or maybe he'll read that the fans really do like the originals better than new Artistic vision he thinks people want. Oh and to add insult to injury making the "originals" disk 2 in the set doesn't help. For now these work, but if you've already got these dont bother picking them up. Oh and i'd like to nit pick about the images to used to decorate the Disks but i think i've done enough. edit: dont try to type fast when your thinking faster than you can actually type. ha ha

if thats going to be the way the dialog is set throught out the movie i'll pass. and uh.... yeah American Idol

i'm gonna sit back, wait and see happens and then maybe I'll buy one. I havent finished or for that matter even started a bunch of games for the PS2. It will probably be a year or more before I buy one, though it could be earlier depending on what happpens.

After reading that review i really am sad. i had high hopes for this movie. Then pics got leaked and i still hoped for something special. I waited for more info , anything positive, and nothing....

I was ok with preordering the first run, until i saw this topic. I 've placed my order and thats that, i wont cancel unless i get cold feet or i find a better deal.

I agree with your point I cant recall growing up and thinking "I want to grow to up to be Robin or the Wonder Twins." Who for the most part are just a kids or thinking I want to be Wiley Kat either.

Their vehicle modes are great. I like the way they look the paint is decent. I like Prime his transformation works nicely and he has decent poseability. Megatron is sorely lacking. its just that the poseability doesnt completely work. His legs swing around to form his waist and hips etc. its supposed to be held together by two plastics stubs that fit into a couple of holes but they dont stay in place and he tends do the splits alot. They should have rethought this. Overall there good, not great. i keep them in vehicle mode. There packages are nice but he twist ties are numerous and difficult in spots to get to. i didnt want to damage them so it was hard t get the figures out. I kept the boxes. edit: added pic

well i bought the set since, I dont have any other copies so this works out for me. i haven't watched them yet so i cant comment on the quality. I'll check them out tomorrow morning, if i'm not too tired. Theres 6 disks, thats 2 per movie. ANH includes disk 1 the new rendition and disk 2 origiinal movie. this also goes for ESB and ROTJ. I got them for about $17 each. I can live with that price. its a shame that ther not originals but from the Laser Disks.

I dont see myself buying extra wings for this. If there intention is to make weaponry available later on then that should have been taken into account during the design and protoype process and included as part of the valk not make special wings a seperate purchase. It just seeems to muh like an aferthought.
