  1. Yes. I could if I still have that scene file. I've played around with that scene a fair bit so I'm not sure its still in the same state. Plus I'm sure the two tails and the back wall just went back far enough to cover that angle. I'd probably have to extent them. Also a scene that that many reflective and transparent surfaces can take several days if not weeks to render. My code isn't as optimized as it should be. Let me finish the few things I have going at the moment and I'll see what I can come up with. Will do... just give me about a week, maybe two. Thanks, Carl
  2. Is Miltron that guy from Dextor's Labs? If not could someone clue me in. Thanks, Carl
  3. Can it be done... probably. Can I do it? No, not without learning alot more about photoshop. I think I can do it with POV-Ray however. I'd just need to render about 10 frames (maybe less, maybe more) with the bikes moving between frames. Then average the frames together. Atleast I think that would work. I'll try it sometime. I have a few other things rendering at the moment. Carl
  4. Hello Solscud007, Motion blur is a little hard to do in POV-Ray but I think it can be done with frame averaging. Here is the closest thing I have to what you are asking for at the moment. Enjoy, Carl
  5. That's sure to make one scratch their head. I don't have a clue what it's trying to say.
  6. Hello Guys, I've posted my latest TRON rendering over at TRON-Sector. I thought it'd be just as easy to point you there as post them here: http://www.tron-sector.com/forums/default....o=top&id=268618 Feel free to make comments here or there. If you'd reather me post the pictures here in the future I can do that too if there is interest. Enjoy, Carl
  7. So whould I... I've seen some rather detailed descriptions of some of the toys but I think I lost access to those emails when I lost access to cnh@ti.com. I've long wished some of the Japanese collectors would get together and put out a book on the unproduced Gakken toys. If I could get my hands on them it'd be the first thing I'd want to do. Carl
  8. There were some Invid prototypes made. I *think* I even know where some of them are today. However Gakken went under before any of them saw any sort of production. And yes... I've tried to get them and No I didn't get very far. Gakken had many Mospeada toys in the pipeline when she folded. Most are now in the hands of private collectors in Japan that won't even let them be photographed. Carl
  9. I've seen this picture before but I'm not sure where to look for it now. Could someone post it here? Thanks, Carl
  10. Do you want to build mine? I'll even let you keep it for a year or two if you'd like. Let me know, Carl
  11. Cool. Thanks for the link. Carl
  12. Oh... just wanted to ask. Will there be a raffle for this project too? Thanks, Carl
  13. You never fail to impress. Great work guys. Carl
  14. Thanks Noel, I was just making my best guess. You are probably more correct them I am. Carl
  15. I believe so. I don't have the colored box myself but I believe the two kits are identical. The black and white box was just a re-release of the kit. I guess they thought they could save a little money on the box with the second release. I don't know the number of kits in each release but it sure seems like there are more of the black and white boxes out there. Carl
  16. I haven't had the time to sit down and learn a new game in years. The last was probably XCOM and I really enjoyed that game. I'd love to play more of it and I have XCOM2 and XCOM3 but haven't had the time to get to them. My favorite game that I keep going back to is Global Conquest. I've been playing that game for 15 years now (or something like that) and it never gets old. Carl
  17. Question removed... Carl
  18. Yes, AlphaHX I don't believe anyone is upset with you. Cobywan, all excellent points. I'm setting up my own homepage and any future recast projects I'm dirrectly tied to will be handeled there. I'd hoped to do that with the one I'm currently tied to but I'd already held the project up for a year. Not really an excuse just a comment, Carl
  19. I looked for it before I posted but failed to find the link. If you have it could you post it please. Thanks for the info, Carl
  20. Not to disagree with your point but does IHP still exist? And I thought the name of the man behind IHP was Mr Sakuragawa. Am I mistaken? The last kit he made was the VB-6 and though it was released under the IHP name initially he soon changed the name to Liquid Stone. Several here at Macross World were on a pre-order list to get one and he couldn't fill that order. The reason as I understood it at the time was he went to work for Yamato and didn't have the time. I don't believe he's worked on any resin kits since then. He's now done the VB-6 for Yamato and I believe he's still working on other projects for them. I'm under the impression we've seen the last of IHP and probably Liquid Stone. If you know something I don't PLEASE set me strait. Thanks, Carl
  21. wwwmwww

    Nice custom

Does he have a web page up or something? I'd love to check out what he's working on. Carl
  22. If I know the picture you are talking about... I think I do... no it wasn't posted by me. I have posted pictures of my Megazone kits though. Carl P.S. Did some digging and found this: I've seen pictures of a scratch built kit of this that were quite good (aka I WANT ONE) but I can't seem to find those pictures now. Carl
  23. Nothing to see here...
  24. "The Saga is complete - May 2005". Sorry if I haven't been keeping up but does this mean Episodes VII, VIII, and IX are definately dead? I knew George didn't want to do them now but I thought there was still hope for them down the road. Carl
  25. I'll take one. Do you know where I can get it? If this is the kit I think it is me and Shawn spotted one for sale years ago. It came in a rainbow colored box. We passed but I now sort of wish I hadn't. I haven't seen anything quite like it since... atleast till your post. Thanks for sharing, Carl P.S. Did a little digging. There is a discussion here: http://zip.4channel.org/m/ And there is some more info here: http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?KYDSMP-01 I wonder where those full-size versions are today. Anyways the best place to find this thing (not even sure what to call it) would probably be Yahoo Japan. Still not sure what I'd search for though.
